E450 table between front seats

Has anyone bought or made a table (preferably detachable) to go between the front seats on a Class C E450?

We put a plastic bin in there almost as tall as the seat bottoms. We put all the RV's manuals, maps, etc in it. Then put a doggie bed atop of it for chocco when traveling.
Easy to move out of the way and inexpensive too.

Not a class C but something to think about Cabinet grade 3/4" ply. 7 coats of good varnish 3 coats of bowling alley wax. detachable. The one that came with the rig isn't user friendly couldn't really travel with it in place. Made this about a year ago 18 wind sport 29M

With that bowling alley wax, Bugsie would just sit at the back of that table waiting for acceleration at every traffic light...mouth wide open.

I'm pretty sure I don't want anything in my cab that stops me from moving from the front seat to the coach area. I don't want to get wet when it is raining.

My thoughts too... although I would love some utility space there, wrestling something out or the way to get to the bathroom doesn't sound pleasant.

I could see a tray of sorts that would sit on top of the doghouse... attaching it securely might be a challenge.

Not a class C, but a easy build. It’s in one of my post. Sure makes moving around easier.

The wood is from Home Depot or Lowe's

The pole came with the RV and the larger table.

we are actually looking for something that can be used on a temporary basis and then put away when not needed.

That’s what mine is. I can remove the pole and table at any time and it just leaves the holder in the floor. They make the leg/pole holders that stick up and they make them that mount flush or recessed into the floor. Mine is recessed because I didn’t want to trip on it. Yeah just cut a bigger hole When mounting base. Very easy install. When driving we use the small table I built. Once were are set up in a campground. We put the large table back. I have two interchangeable tables one is just too large to drive with. Sometimes we don’t use the table at all.

I removed the mount from under the oblong table from the front in our previous Vegas. Replaced it with a tool box cover from Home Dpo. It worked great, and now I use it in our Hurricane in that position between the seats..
Being rectangular, it gives a lot more room for two people to have a meal.
