We have the Sleek for AT&T. It does pull in a stronger signal on the I phones we have. If you have 0 bars, like some COE places in GA just 10 miles from AL, it doesn't help that much. I made a PVC extension that ties to the rear ladder and gets the antenna above the roof. It helps.

When I had a boat, I had a Digital Antenna Systems repeater (repeats the signal).

PowerMax 4KMR-30M 50dB Gain Wireless Cellular Repeater System - 3,500 Sq Ft Cell Booster

It had a high-gain 6ft antenna sitting on top of the radar arch, so it was 20 some ft in the air. And when you consider we were on water, then we had the best conditions we could have.

When the system worked, I could get 10 miles out and still have a cell signal. But it was really finicky, and not reliable enough for use.

Of course, the VHF, Radar, and other things on board that transmitted signals might have had something to do with the flakey operation of the system, but if I were going to try one again, it would be one of the Digital Antenna System units.

I am looking well I actually bought this repeater Wilson 460108 Mobile 4G Amplifier Kit | +50 dB

Was curious about any feedback issues and the mounting location of the inside antennae. I think I am going to put the outside on the top ladder rail (the one I am getting does not have these antenna).

Sounds like I should have good signal no matter where I might be if you could pull in 10 miles out! In the front I have a wifi extender with a internal and external antenna.. Wow that works really good!

Our kit is installed, sometimes we get feed back that knocks the amplifier offline, especially if I use the WiFi extender. But it have helped to keep a stable signal. The external antenna is mounted above the roof line.
