Eonon GA2185?
I'm looking at installing a new radio because I would like some greater functionality in our Windsport 34J. I'm looking at the Eonon GA2185:
https://www.eonon.com/Android-Car-GP...avigation.html
Has anyone done this? I see a few posts about Eonon units and the opinions seem generally positive. Any feedback? Gotchas to watch out for? How is the wiring job? The technical documentation I found for the unit isn't too extensive...
Thanks for any and all feedback!

I actually hadn't either until I saw ducksface's post here:

I like the big nav screen and ability to run Android.

I installed GA2187 last week to Thor Axis 25.2. Cable colors was same only issue was soldering the cables together. I had to solder because of socket comes with unit didn’t fit the unit. It works great. Better than axxera. I purchased from Amazon $295.

Perfect, this is what I was hoping for! I don't mind splicing wires.
Another question about your GA2187 - Where does the radio antenna plug in? I didn't see it in the manual. I see the wifi antenna and the GPS antenna, but nothing about a radio antenna.

You need to cut new and old radio's plugs match the colors and solder. I use solder paste which is paste you apply and heat also I used shrink cable tubes to cover it. Here are some pictures I don’t have the finished pictures but this will give you idea.

I don't mind cutting and making the splices but I wonder if I can find a male plug for the Axxera unit to install on the end of the Eonon pigtail to make an adapter??

Thank you Bob! Looks like it's been discontinued but Amazon will sell me one for the low, low introductory price of $2,309!!
https://www.amazon.com/Kenwood-Excel.../dp/B073HR46QW
I'll take a look at some similar units.

Following this post, I also have a 34J and am not impressed with the radio at all.

After watching a couple videos of the different options I decided to go with the Eonon GA2185 unit I was looking at (I appreciate the recommendation though Bob). I like that it runs Android and I can use all the apps and functions I am already used to. I received all the parts yesterday and will be installing it this weekend.
It turns out the harness for the Axxera radio simply unplugs from the coach's wiring with a 12-pin plug and with help from CevikT I found the same plug on Amazon and it was an easy job to replace the plug that came on the new harness with the partner to the coach's plug. No soldering involved. Like CevikT said the wire colors were all the same except for the parking brake and reverse wires. But those were clearly labeled on everything so it was an easy switch.
I also ordered a cheap bluetooth steering wheel control for the radio. Likewise, wiring for that was easy and straightforward as well.
Now for the last step of installing in the dashboard and hoping it all works!
