I have 2019 so in two years I may be like you? I am using 303 Protectant about 3 times per year thus far. The decals still look good but I know they will not last forever.

I used 303 also but only when I thought about it. So once or twice a year if that. Best protection is a cover

Cover is not an option for me. If you follow Risk Management principle I accept the risk from use of cover over the effort and risk to use a cover.
Will was my RV today and apply 1st treatment of the year of 303. I get Texas heat and sun all day and thus far it looks fine. The roof takes a beating those and will easily chalk. I wash it as frequently as I can even when I do not wash the entire thing.
One thing I can add about the decals is when I wax I try to avoid them, it is pain and hard to avoid in full, but it will be interesting to see.
I may have to create a new thread to see just how long those that have decals say they got them to last? For now; I will assume 4 years as average?
Oddly Winnebago replaced my outdoor kitchen door under warranty. When dealer put the new hatch/door on, they have forgot about the Sunstar decal emblem. At first they said it was NOT one then I showed them picture. I prolly should have left it off, but they ordered and out it on. Point is when it was off, you could not tell it was ever on.

When I decided to purchase an RV, I made the decision to invest in a cover
The only damage on the decals is from sitting on the dealers lot 16months before I purchased it

Worked the the passenger side a little the past two days. Yesterday I took off what would peel off. Lots of these decals looked good but once I started to peel them they fell a part
Today I used up the last eraser wheel. I did the bottom decals More on order from amazon

I guess you now have a "Tornado" keep it up and will soon just Quiet Storm.
What is Eraser and how does it work? I did put the 303 on my decals this morning. I saw a couple very small areas 2 inch or less that I don't know why they bothered to even fool with a decal? I tried to peel one but it was a no go.

I thought a RV Storage Shed / Cover contains chemicals that may cause cancer, birth defects, or reproductive harm known to cause cancer in the State of California?

My RV was on the lot in Bakersfield for nearly a year before I bought it. it was used as a show model for a number of shows in Southern California during the summer. I believe the dealer never use any type of protection or cleaning on it other than a wash now and then. I notice my decals starting to turn within the first year I owned it. Jerry I think the no decal look is rather appealing.

Finished removing the decals then the boss comes out to check on my work. Maria says looks good, when are you removing the front and rear decal???
Wasn't planning on doing that but the boss rules. Removed the front and back but ran out of the eraser wheel with a 2' section to go. New eraser will be here Friday. Then it'll get a good wash and the buffing with gelcoat restore will start
