29m captain chair floor mod...

For me.... it's just wrong...again I will say, industry standards require a seat height of about 18'' the goldie locs fairy tell is just that.... if the seats too high, you get complaints, if it's too low the same... so the standard was set..same with rise and tread on stairs...people just expect it to be right,... and when it's not....complaints...

I've done this mod before, and I seem to keep adding to it..this time a light bulb switched on....hey, I could make some very usable storage there

I pulled the cup holder out and looked to make sure the wires would be long enough after the floor is raised, with the floor raised it will be right at seat height..

So the plan is to extend the raised floor out 12'' , it's 14'' to the slide out...I will then re mount the cup holder cabinet on top of the raised floor

the cup holder is now 6'' higher, and you don't have to get on your hands and knees to read the solar or inverter

thanks,..I really don't like the linoleum , it amplifies the road noise...and the carpet makes the cab area cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter..I seen some thick rubber mat some where, can't remember.. but that would be nice also to deaden the sound also... still open to ideas there....on our pace they gave you extra floor tiles
