Front seat change

In my 27.2 ACE, the passenger seat will not swivel fully around as it hits the jackknife couch. Looking at the seat base, and underneath the floor near the front R tire, it appears the bolts could be moved forward a bit to allow for complete swiveling. Has anybody done this? We tend to have the seat forward, there’s plenty of room there.

Thx

Rich Guess

Go for it! There should be no problem with this. Then let us know how it works.

Have you taken the arm off the couch? The forward arm on our 2018 ACE 27.2 couch is removeable to allow the passenger seat to swivel farther around.

In my 2018 27.2, removing the upper couch arm doesn’t prevent the seat belt arms from striking the lower part of the couch. The couch has some scrapes from when the original owner apparently tried a bit too hard. I’m planing on swapping out the couch with recliners (which will require removal of the TV box behind the couch) but they’re about the same width as the couch, so I think I’ll go ahead and move the seat forward anyway. I plan to take some pics and will post them.
