Gas Stop Valve

Has anyone installed the Gas Stop Valve on their 20 gallon propane tank on a class A. 2017 Miramar.

Thoughts?

Thanks

All newer propane tanks are required to have high flow safety valves

Is this something else?

It’s an after market valve sold on Amazon, named Gas Stop for propane. Just want to know if it is a good purchase.

Thanks

My 2016 Hurricane (Thor MC plant 750) came with one that is integral to the two stage regulator. Since the coach came with an outside kitchen, that may be the reason. If you think you might have a situation where is a chance of a main propane line rupture, it would be nice to have one.

They to have one drawback. If you totally depressurize the propane system (as when storing the coach) and then open the tank isolation valve suddenly the valve may trip causing no propane to flow. Resetting the tripped valve can take some persistence.
