Thor Chateau 28Z

We removed the dinette from the slide and put in two recliners. Now we have decided we would like to move the fold down couch over where the dinette was (now the recliners) and set the recliners where the couch is now.

Going pretty well and have the couch ready to bolt back down, but there are two black metal plates that are screwed down to the floor and I am not sure what they are covering up. Six screws holding them down, but removing the screws didn't let me lift it up and see what's under there.

See the black plates in photo below

We have the same thing in our 2015 28Z. Doesn't appear anything is mounted to it.

I looked underneath and that's where the gray tank is. Not sure if it's associated with the plate.

Could those be the slide guides?

They are the slide guides and underneath them is t-bar. Don’t mess with them. See this post from a few years ago by me.

Finished Project!

Next project - Add doors below the front to allow access to store stuff underneath.
