Ham radio installation in a Vegas

Has anyone out there installed a ham radio transceiver in a Vegas motor home yet? I have a dual band uhf/vhf radio and am curious how you ran the power wires to the battery and where and how did you put the antenna? I have a couple of ideas but would like to know if it's been done and how.

I am surprised that nobody replied.
We will be picking up a Vegas 24.1 in Tucson this week.
Radio install will be one of the very first mods.
