Duck, Yes, i see, at .7 gal an hr. it draws it down pretty fast with those small LP tanks. Our brains don't work as fast as yours....

So my ACE LP tank is 80 lbs / 4 = 20 Gal. They are just going to have to put a bigger LP tank in.

Now, we just need a ATS for Shore pwr. transfer

Yah definitely seems way overpriced and calling it "generator" is misleading. It's just an inverter.

For comparison, I got my 1200W inverter with a built in transfer-switch for $240. It's nice to have an inverter in your RV if it doesn't have one.

But as far as charging 12v house batteries .... there are far easier ways to charge them from a 12v "generator" like a car engine's alternator ... usually all you need is jumper cables
