Help inverter need cost brand etc?

When is it needed. Size brand cost who installs are you happy with yours?

There is a wide range of inverter sizes, from 150 watts to several thousand watts and various ways of wiring them up.

I would first decide what you want to power with an inverter, for how long and then calculate the battery capacity to do that and how you are going to recharge your batteries when they get low.

Only then is it worth talking about brands and prices.

This is the one you want for an integrated system. It has the auto transfer switch.
Also order the remote switch and mount it on your entry wall

I did the install and will never be without an inverter again.
If you have two (or more) good batteries and a solar set-up you can boon-dock anywhere.
Watch TV in a parking lot or at a beach or lake, no generator needed.
Run your fridge off 110 volt while driving, save on propane.

I have a Xantrex Pro 1000 inverter for sale. It came out of my Hurricane when I converted to 50 amps and more batteries. It comes with the wired remote with battery monitor and 5 ft, 4 awg battery cables. It powered the three TVs, outside kitchen fridge and DirecTV receiver with no problems. update my local tech installed aims 3000w inverter and transfer switch..hooked up microwave and all outlets $1600. He said house batteries and solar 180w are ok. test everything if more power needed he said group 24 Interstate batteries are the best and will solve most issues. Thanks all for all the help
