Have you looked on the back of the radio head?
Maybe every pin out is labeled.

Head units have two power inputs
Usually the yellow wire is the keep alive and the red is the switched ignition.

The fuse you checked is the switched lead.
The yellow lead is powered from the coach batteries directly, usually with a in line fuse . My fuse on my 29h is wired off my use/store SOLENOID, battery terminal.

Can you use any after market radio? I called Axxera techs and they recommended an Rv radio saying that some of the settings would mess up the bu camera. Be careful.

I have a brand new Windsport 35M that axxera unit is a piece of junk. I'm fighting temptations to change because I've only had it for 2 weeks! Lol

It would be cool if we could upgrade to something like this

I've actually research this a bit more.

I found a diagram to the axxera avn111 nav unit

http://www.axxera.dualav.com/downloa...ZLjzfLsNDKaHmL

And this unit's wiring diagram is totally compatible with it

https://phoenixautomotiveinc.com/pro...smart_campaign

I'm definitely going to do this mod

I did the 10 inch version of that display and radio head.
Any din radio is any din radio.
No mounting kit is needed if you already have a din type radio.
There are head units the same size at half that price with android 9.
8.1 is a couple of versions ago and might not run some apps you might want.
Typically, radio heads will not upgrade to new versions.

You have a good point about android 9. Love the size and the split screen. I'll do more searching... Had a pioneer head unit in a Tahoe before and it was rock solid
