the coach ladder seems barely adequate, like it will eventually bend and sag if used frequently. It is rated for 250, and I am 200, and would think long about carrying 50 lbs of stuff with me.

This installation will complete that Mod. I also ordered and installed the bug screen for each cover. The extra bug screen seen will be installed in the vent cover that came with the MH. I purchased a telescoping ladder too. We are supposed to get a little dusting of snow today so I will have to wait until the weather clears before I get on the roof again.

I did the fan conversion about two years ago, you'll like it. I have a remote controlled Fantastic Fan in the kitchen area that moves even more air (and makes less noise doing so). When both fans are running, I can move soc mauch air that one can feel a breeze standing next to an open window. These fans, in combination with a ceiling fan in the bedroom, allow me to sleep during some warmer nights without the need to have the noisy air condition running!

Please let us know how you like this ladder. I have one of those 7' folding flat ladders that has the advantage that it does not need to lean against anything. But sometimes I wish it would be a little taller.

Thanks. Did you ever weight your axle weight?

More Mods for Windy

Hello RVers

Made some more mods on Windy, our 2017 Winsport 29M. We installed day/night roller shades on the Dining Room and Living Room windows and placed MAXXAIR Fanmate Rain Covers on the Living Room and Bathroom powered ceiling vents.

Whew, that is enuf for now...time for a cold beverage and a little NFL football.

Have a wonderful and safe Sunday!

More Mods

Tweaked a few more things inside the MH. Added 2 speakers on the dash. I liked that the original speakers were placed below the dash but I had to consider what the sound would do to my dog, Pepper, so I also moved the original speaker on the passenger side slightly above the "doggy" window next to the dash vent. For those who were wondering what kind of backsplash the new Windsport has, I provided a pic of that too.

Make it a great week and take care!!

Dino, it that the original backsplash that came in your coach? Our backsplash consists of two tile looking plastic panels, kind of a beige color, ugly as hell, which is why I plan on changing to better looking stick ons.

Speakers look good!!!

Yessir, that is the original backsplash. I think ours came like that because of the cabinetry color. We have the dark wood.

Angie and I just came back from a night drive and my headlights are A-OK...low beams, high beams, and fog lights work just fine and do a good job illuminating the road. I remember some of our fellow RVers had a concern about the headlights of the 29M!!

I was complaining about our headlights on the forum. High beam ok, low beam needs serious adjustment, didn't try the fog lights.

We have the light cabinets, may account for the difference in the backsplash, ours is ugggliee!

we have a similar backsplash with the maple cabinets. Maybe a slightly different color tone. Thor as this as a new change for model year 2017.5. I also really like that the outdoor TV is wired to the BR stereo so the sound can be played thru the outside speakers.
