Jerry, First off and above everything else I'm very happy you are doing so well!!!
As you know I did the same thing but instead downloaded the Dash Command app, Torque app is not available for Apple products. I haven't had time to go thru all the different gauges so not sure if trans temp is available. The ForScan app is available for Apple so I may download that as a secondary, and I'm like you I would like to monitor the trans when towing.
We're taking a 3 day trip this weekend, maybe I'll have a chance to play with my Dash Command and see what I can find. The app does have a great trip computer that monitors just about everything for fuel and distance, anxious to see what it can do.
Thanks for letting us know that the ForScan app does do trans temp!

So are you concerned about the actual transmission temperature? Or does your dash not have a transmission temperature gauge?

It has the gauge but i like to see the actually temp.
Ive had gauges in other vehicles that showed the temp was fine then instantly shot up. Rather see the temp as its riding. Just piece of mind.

I think Jerry's concern is for trans temp when pulling their Jeep, I have the same concern too! I'm sure your dash is pretty identical to ours, no trans temp gauge. Like Jerry I want to monitor my coach and spot changes before they become a problem.

Yeah, my ACE has a trans temp gauge as well. That was why I was asking.
My 2008 Silverado doesn't have a trans temp gauge but you can get the temp on the DIC by scrolling to it.

My understanding is that the temp gauges for oil and tranny have 3 settings low medium and high temp. I want to know the actual temperature as it's climbing

This is what we bought. Youll need to do an Amazon search for it. Looks like the app Forscan picks up more info than Torque Pro.
Thanks Jamie for the info!!!!

We're probably better off not looking at that anyway.
I ordered a BAFX Products 34t5 Bluetooth OBDII Scan Tool for Android Devices, can't wait to try it out.

Good luck with it when the weather cools off around here I'm going to go back in the motorhome and update a few more things to put on my screen maybe MPG and some other things
Also remember when you're not using it unplug it because it's a constant drain on the engine battery

Jerry, your obd2 stays on even after you shut the engine off?
The wifi obd2 I bought goes off when the engine is shut down, I know because the wifi signal stops and the lights all go out. Wonder if has to due with Bluetooth vs wifi?

It runs on 2 AA batteries. I did this in my 5th wheel and never changes the batteries in 4 years

I have seven wires connected to the original thermostat. Four wires in jacket (red, yellow, green and blue), and three separate wires (white, white w/red stripe and red w/white stripe).
I bought the identical thermostat shown, all I need is the four wires shown in the diagram? Where do all the remaining wires go? Does it have something to do with the new one being battery powered?
Thanks
