Since I'm only up to page 69 reading this forum this might already be answered but on my 2018 29M the charging station was wired backwards. I pulled it out and swapped the wires. Works great now.

BTW, thanks for all of the information you guys have put in this forum. It's given me a ton of great ideas and information.

Bathroom vent knob and exhaust van switches

DW could not reach the bathroom ceiling vent knob or exhaust fan rocker switch.
I changed out the switches to the pull chain type I got at Home Depot. I epoxy glued a PVC extension to the knob. I used a piece of 1 inch PVC pipe and painted it to match. Now it is better suited for the vertically challenged.

I thought about doing something similar. Maria is 5"2" I'm 6'4". After thinking about it I decided not to do it. I know I would hit my head on whatever I extended down. So now I just turn on the fan for her..

I would like to put I switch on the wall but feeding the wires down could be a pain. Not worth the effort.

I read that someone put in a switch operated by a wireless remote that they attached to the wall. If I were any taller I would have made a mechanism to off set the extension out of the way. Luckily I could keep it simple.

You could put in a Wireless switch (Amazon) and have a nifty keyfob looking thing to turn the fan on/off.

Here is a 2 channel one (although this one would have to be hidden away somewhere).

4 channels--control all your lights with a keyfob!

Thanks for the info. Those are reasonably priced. Sure beats the old Clapper.

I installed the 2 channel one in our last TT for the bedroom lights. We had sliding doors on both sides of the bed with hook hangers at the top. One FOB on each side - worker great.

This is the one I used https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I hear all good about the Maxxair vents. I plan to replace the kitchen/dining area vent with one of those. The modifications to the vents in both coach bathrooms cost me less than $20 total.

SuperD,

I think I read in another thread that you have a washer/dryer combo unit in your 29M. We are looking at motorhomes, and the DW really wants a washer/dryer. Can you explain how and where you put it in your 29M.

Sorry I do not have a washer/dryer in this coach. The 29M is not plumbed or prepped to install a washer, closet is the only place it could go and it is not deep enough even if you wired and plumbed. Anything is possible but I'm afraid a washer in a 29M just isn't doable or practical.

eshark,
The 35M comes set up for washer and dryer. The closet is huge. It is wired and plumbed. We don't have washer/dryer.

Wonder if they could start the motor on the boat and use it to push the coach out?

Jerry
I saw this from an earlier post (I think on this thread) and decided to do it. However, I'm 5'10" and the wife is 5'2", so not as tall as you. I looked at the prospect of another wall switch and wiring, and decided this was an easier mod that got the job done.
I don't hit the fob, but again, I'm not 6'4". I shortened the chain by an inch or so after this photo to let the fob clear the medicine cabinet door.
The switch is just an on-off fan light switch. I used 2 ea. 3/8" flat washers and ground the sides to be oblong for covering the hole left from the original square switch. I also found some 3/16" spade connectors to connect the wiring.
