I foun the same thing on mine on our maiden voyage. I used a couple wood screws and screwed it done from the toilet side. Also reinstalled the wire nuts and taped them.
Not really sure how much good this fan does, but it’s working.

Quality product, great customer service and decent prices...can't say enough good things about Brazels and Ultra RV products.

Rear swaying issues
Hi,
Does anyone have a solution to getting rid of the swaying on a Windsport 29M. I have completed the CHF on the front and re-positioned the rear sway bar but I still get a bunch of swaying especially when a semi passes. There has to be something out there to help with this.
Thanks

I’ve seen a lot about swaying and many suggestions in this thread so hopefully someone will have an answer to help you. I’m just wondering if I’m wierd or somehow got lucky. I haven’t done the CHF yet or made any modifications and I just drove about 3000 miles without any noticeable swaying problems. I’m in a 2018 Hurricane 29M and we went south from Colorado Springs to Tucumcari, NM on I25 and some smaller highways. Then we crossed to South Carolina on I40, I22, and I20. We stayed there a few days an drove north on I77 and I81. The only time I noticed any type of handling issues was in high winds across Oklahoma. I kept the cruise control a little over 55 all the way and was passed by lots of big rigs. The DW didn’t notice any problems either.

Sway
I don't have a lot of sway, but there was a noticeable difference after I did the CHF and also added the front stabilizer shock absorber. I still get blown around when a big rig goes by and you can feel the swaying for a few seconds after they pass. Plus in heavy winds I notice it the most (of course), would just like to have it where you don't have to white knuckle it some of the times.

Do not flat tow the ford escape!!!!!!
Hello friends and fellow 29M owners! Wanted to give you a heads up on towing vehicles and the hard lesson Angie and I learned a few days ago. We just completed a 9 day trip to visit friends and family. We towed our 2011 Ford Escape XLT and followed the rules and instructions in the owner's manual to the letter. Apparently Ford screwed the pooch yet again. The tranny in the Escape went to Sugar Honey Ice Tea on our way home. After research with some Ford forums, there is ample evidence the Ford Escape with a certain tranny CANNOT be flat towed! The towing system we put on the MH and tow vehicle costed about $3500 and the tranny will cost about the same so it looks like we will eat this unless I can sell the Roadmaster Nighthawk tow bar system on Ebay to offset some of our loss. Come to find out Ford issued an addendum in 2015 advising NOT to tow the Ford Escape but we never got the addendum since we brought our Escape used!! Needless to say I am pissed but it is what it is. Now we have to look for a good tow dolly for our Escape. DO NOT FLAT TOW THE 2010-2011 FORD ESCAPE!!!! Please pass the word!

Wow, so sorry to hear that! As it always seems to be for us RV'ers… another lesson learned the hard way. Is the Escape a front wheel drive? If so, a dolly will work great (even if it can be more work each time to connect and strap down, etc.) We tow our FWD Cherokee with a Master Tow dolly with surge brakes and it has worked very well for over 15,000 miles so far. We sold our Demco tow bar and all of the flat tow stuff (cables, lights, etc.) and it almost covered the cost of the dolly new.

We tow our 2014 Escape on an Acme EZE-Tow dolly:
The Escape has gone about 3000 miles on the dolly with nary an issue.
(Also have towed a C-Max Energi on the dolly for about 3000 miles as well without incident.)
Yes our Escape is FWD.
