The water inlet elbow i had connected became frozen. When I took it off this screen was frozen to the elbow and came out when I removed it. I thawed out the screen and didn't realize that it had to go back in a certain way.

It occurred to me last night that maybe the screen had something to do with my problem. Went out and checked, and sure enough it was in there the wrong way.
First rule of in line strainers - pointy end upstream. Enables catching a lot of stuff with minimum flow area reduction. For the witches hats we would use in process pump suction lines, the strainer is in compression, which minimizes the change of the strainer from disintegrating and doing bad things to very expensive pumps. Same concept for hoses.

Quick rainy day mod. Bought two floor mats from costco. Cut them to fit the front driver and passenger floorboards. Should feel better on the feet and cooler in the summer, warmer in the winter. I normally drive in socks or slippers and marias in sandals

Fighting a cold right now and its been raining/ sprinkling for the past couple days with more to come. This cokd and cough is keeping me in doors. I hate that

The price is a bargain. I use smaller versions on my motorcycles.

Your installation looks good. You did a nice job on the electrical splices. My only concern would be with the relay. I am not sure where it's located, but I wonder if you were able to protect it from getting wet when driving in the rain.

The relay is enclosed in an acrylic cube and shud be protected from wet weather!

Hi Dino,
As Red mentioned, your link to Amazon wasn't working (maybe they sold out?)
Just wondering if this is the type of horn where you can choose various 'tunes'?

Pretty slick installation! I think I heard you testing it out all the way out here in Calif.!

A little more expensive but I prefer the Wolo Big Bad Max air horn. I have one mounted on each hood hinge. I pull power directly from the chassis battery, through a 20 amp fuse and through a 30 amp relay to the horns. The relay is fed by the original horn circuits, so all four horns blow simultaneously.

air horn

Just yesterday I said i need an air horn. I was entering a round about and a 4 wheeler came flying into the next entryway I had to hit the brakes to keep from knocking him into next week. He had to be doing 45 mph, this is one of those "we don't really have the room for a round about so we'll put one in anyway" locations speed limit should be 15-20mph.
Round about are a new thing here any many don't understand the whole yield to cars in the round about thing. It is North Carolina so you just say Hey! and move on

We had the same situation in KY. They put in a much-too-small traffic circle and the natives just didn't understand the merging procedure. Nevertheless it was better than the intersection that had traffic backed up during commuter times.
