Thanks for the info was initially looking at the Ace but too many bad reviews. Windsport/hurricane seems to get much better reviews and its on a better chassis.

Thank god, I do not have that bunk, but nice storage cabinets over the windshield. The side part of the curtains is not a big deal, it gets adventurous to close those curtains in front of the windshield. To do that I have to do an almost acrobatic climbing act. That is the reason why I would like to install those blinds from Steve's Blind shop. I just have to get an idea hoe to do this so they don't rattle like crazy.

The area would fit a gigantic lazy susan. The only problem would be how to get to it. I would have to take the drawers out each time I would want to get something from it. I just wonder, if those cabinets have any structural purpose, other wise I might be able to make a trap door kind of thing in the counter top that covers the empty space, and use that space to sore larger items that can sit on the floor .

I was thinking maybe access from under the sink. Another alternative would be to install a 90 degree corner door. There are structural supports but they are to support the counter top. If you put in a trap door you wouldn't be able to access the lower shelves on the lazy Susan, some have two or three shelves.

Needed some ambience and heat in the bedroom. Bought it and hoped it would fit, it does.

Love the ambience part Wredman but we 29M owners don't need the additional heat in our bedrooms...in fact I had to install a damper to control the heat cause when the furnace is cranked up the bedroom gets the most heat!

I agree our bedroom get to hot also. I'll be getting the damper soon also.
I do like the fireplace. We were first looking at the 35K and 34F and wanted the fireplace in the living room.

Dino and I had a conversation yesterday about the black/gray tanks and what fills them.
I called Thor this morning and confirmed the bathroom sink drains to the black tank on our 29Ms. Kitchen, shower and outdoor sink goes to the gray tank.

Have you all asked Thor for the engineering diagrams for your coaches? Many questions about plumbing, etc. can be answered by those (even if your coach wasn't built to that spec at least you know how it should have been).
See here on how to ask: http://www.thorforums.com/forums/f10...ings-5833.html

Dino & Jerry, I got all the drawings for my coach from Thor. Tip, call and ask over the phone and you'll probably have them either the same or next day in a PDF. If you email and ask you may end up waiting 2 weeks or more.
The drawings need to be taken with a grain of salt! Just like Jamie said above, the drawings show how the coach was SUPPOSED to be built, reality may be a little different. Drawings show a 1,000 watt inverter, my coach has an 1,800 watt.
Looking at the drawings soon after I bought the coach confirmed the bathroom sink is plumbed in to the black tank. I got curious after our first trip why the black tank was filling so fast, looked at routing of plumbing and saw why.

So I'm trying to one up Dino with my mods
Newest one is a rear track bar from Brazels RV. Its model #UTF53V8R
Last Thursday Dave, Sundance, came over to lend a hand and most important supervise me. I'm not a mechanic and really dont know what im doing. I'm amazed that i was able to do the mods i already completed without damaging and destroying the mh
Anyways this mod was probably the most difficult so far. Mainly because you have to be on your back or stomach by the rear differential with very little room. Would be much easier if you had a mechanics pit to drive over so you could work while standing
So Dave failed at supervising me and I screwed up a little which cost us a couple hours of drive time to get a couple parts. We were able to get the main bracket on the drivers side and spacer bracket on the passenger side installed. Dave had to leave and my back was killing me so it was a good time to stop
Over the weekend i installed the bracket to the frame rail but didnt install the track bar because it requires a 250 lb torque. No way to do that without a little help. My buddy came over today and we got the bar torqued down in about 15 minutes
Ill be testing it out in march with a quick trip to vegas
Thanks again Dave for the help. You have no idea how much I appreciate it. Its a rare thing these days to find quality friends willing to help. Thanks again
Jerry
