Major Week of Modís and Repairs

Spending a week in Hilton Head were we keep our rig. I have been planning and ordering parts for weeks in preparation.

Today was A/C day.
- replaced a defective control board (12v relay for the fan burned out). Thor sent me a new one under warranty. It was a quick 15 repair.

- I noticed that the foam partition between the cold (output) and warm (intake) had gaps allowing cold air to pass directly into the return. Sealed with metal duct tape.

- replaced both thermostats with Honeywell residential units that are programable. I was going to use a WIFI unit but found these two units at a discount store for $3 each, so I could not pass them up. I will probably still replace one of the with a WIFI unit in the future.

Tomorrows list is mostly outside items.

Great meeting you guys today. And lunch was very good

I expect to see you two in Amarillo. I'll be your shuttle from the hotel to the campground

Finished washing it anyways since the rain doesn't really take the stuck on dirt off. Wax will come in the next few days.

Took the cover off the Camaro and moved it so I could wash the mh. Now its soaked also. It hasn't been washed or seen rain in a couple of years. When ever I drive it I put Meguires quick detail or spray wax on it so no need to wash

Hope we don't get to much had weather on the trip

Thanks.
I understand your concern about drilling a hole on the roof but that is what I did. The hole is directly over the cabinets over the dining table (Windsport 29M) where I have my "technology" stuff!!

Thanks Dino, much appreciated.

That seems like the logical choice to locate the device, since there's an available power supply there as well.

I installed one of these about 2 years ago in my ACE, love it! Saves so much water which is super important if you are boondocking.

I know several of you have added second A/C unit. So I don't have to go find those posts what model did you add and where did you purchase?

All packed up and ready to go. We leave at 5am tomorrow morning. Only thing left to do is pull mh in the street and hookup the jeep.

Maria bought new holders for her make up and bath supplies. The white holders came with pretty strong magnets

the magnets on the new holders are stronger. The old ones never fell but you never know what will happen
