Thanks I will check him out.
It would act as a crash cam and security cam system while parked.

Follow Up to Recliner Installation
The RecPro recliners are very comfortable but the TV is mounted high on the wall of the Hurricane 29M so the next mod was a drop down TV mount. I installed it over the weekend and it really drops the TV down-see photos (rotated 90-degrees).

Interesting. It would be hard for me to give up my 10" monitor but the biggest question I would have is:
Does it record each channel separately? Or just what is displayed on the screen?

Interesting dropping it down. I never had a problem with it being high but I can see where lowering it could be good
I just installed a swivel mount to get a better viewing angle and upgraded to a visio 39"

Drop Don TV Mount
Yes, we started with a lockable swivel mount but the Mrs. found it too high and the best viewing position still bothered her neck. The drop down is now closer to eye level and got the seal of approval. I also removed the original 32" TV and replaced it with a 40" plus a blue tooth sound bar. This set up plus the recliners allows me to watch a very sharp picture on the TV with great sound all with my eyes closed

Where did you find the theater seating at? are they a direct replacement?
We also have a Windsport 29M and we were looking at those seats as well.

Recliner seats
You can buy them directly from the supplier at Recpro.com. The space in the Windsport is the same as the Hurricane. I replaced the sofa bed with these recliners. Just to be sure, measure your available space and match that to the recliner width at the Recpro web site.

120v Power Source
<2018 Hurricane 29M>
I am wishing for a 120v power plug up front in the rig. I know there is one under the workstation tray, but that is a bit to far front.
I have a dehumidifier that I keep behind my drivers seat and currently plug into to downward facing plug under the cupboard, but this is not very convenient and looks poor.
I am thinking of putting a plug under the couch on the side of the cupboard (near the sink), out of site.
Question: Is there a decent existing power source in this area (under the sink area) that I can tap off for this new plug?

Dave
The only plug I can think of is for the fridge and or the water heater. Water heater might be a direct wire and not a plug but its 120v so its power.
It might be easier to tap into the plug on the front work station. Run the wires under the dash to the drivers side. Plug/box could go on the floor, fire wall, or outside wall.

Thanks Jerry
I had a quick peel today and there is a power plug I can pull from in behind the fridge via the outside panel.
I will use that unless I find something better when I have a better look tomorrow.
I would like to have the new plug located on the counter (side panel) near the sink and beside the couch.
Will let you know how it goes.
Thanks

Nice job on the TV mount but I was wondering if Thor changed the layout of the water pump on the 29M!!! The reason why I asked is because I noticed a handle under your dining room bench under the TV. I have a 2017 Windsport 29M and the water pump is located under that bench. Is that now a storage area????

The water pump is still there under approximately 1/2 of the dinette seat-I "boxed" it in (allowing some vent space) and I framed out some supports for drawer runners/glides in the remaining space under the seat. I built a deep sided drawer to serve as a pantry and used the original padded side panel of the dinette seat as a drawer facia. The drawer glides are self closing (Home Depot) and hold the drawer tight enough to prevent opening during travel.

LED indicator light for main interior light switch
I got tired of trying to find the main indoor light switch when we would come back to the rig in the dark. I would always hit the wrong switch! Ended up purchasing a $5 LED on eBay and installed it just over the top of the light switch. Wired it so that the LED would be on when the lights were off and off when the lights were on. Inexpensive but practical mod. Apologize too about the sideways pics.
