The new shower door, Nautilus, arrived today. FedEx on Sundays is great. Got it installed in about 20 minutes and took another 10 to caulk it

Behind the shower faucet standoff were two PEX pipes. My coach has a split bath so the pipes run from the main line to and from the water-heater. My Duo plastic faucet standoff bezel had three holes, so I had to buy a two hole version. The plastic retainers on the old shower faucet work fine on the new one (same pipe threads). The big problem is everything in the RV and US home is on 4" center and the new one is on 150 mm center (5.9"). The shower valve comes with 1/2 inch swing arms but they are not long enough. The Internet to the rescue. There are 3 and 3/8" swing arm adapters made for claw foot cast iron bathtub fixtures. I chose the chrome ones to match the shower faucet. Everything fit perfectly.

Jerry added a slow closing lid in a post above, I was adding to... The LED light doesn't prevent slamming, it helps with better aim. Then I can lower the lid in my sleepy foggy gaze after I hit the bowl and not the floor..
DW really like's the night light effect when she goes in there too. Although her aim has always been better... I think I can say that here?

We have a temp controlled shower valve at home and love it.
Could you tell me the brand and model of what you used?
Also a link to a seller would be great.
THANKS...so many good mods to do, and our rig is only a couple months old.

It was one of many on Amazon. The manufacturer is Librao and PN# is 603840227662. Just search for "bathroom shower mixer valve"

Thought I posted the shower skylight mod a few months ago but can't find it on this thread
Anyways I used flexseal liquid to brush 3 coats on the skylight. After climbing on the roof and cleaning it with rubbing alcohol I put 1 coat per day for 3 total
It's amazing how much heat was coming into the bathroom and livingroom. This cut the heat way down
So to finish this project I took the interior skylight out of the bathroom and put a couple coats of white spray paint on the outside dome. This should smooth out the looks/streaks in the flexseal. It's was kind of blotchy looking inside looking at it.
I didn't take any pics of the coated skylight when I was on the roof. But here's one from the inside of the shower looking up at it. And the inside cover is off. You can see how streaky it is. On the roof it looks uniform.
Plus pics of the cover painted and installed

To me it seems like it would be something else to aim for

So jealous. halibut/Alaska are on my bucket list. I've caught plenty of other species, off the east coast, but not them.
Pictures or it didnt happen...
Have a GREAT time

You win!
Have a great time, Jerry!
In a couple weeks we're heading up into the Sierras and will do some trout fishing...so you win. We love Alaska. If all falls into place, we're going back next summer.
See you in a couple months!
Kent
