This should help during cold night. We used the heater on our last trip to the mountains. The bedroom got way to hot from this floor vent. So now we, i mean i, can adjust it at night

Just need the 'super secret' tool to release the radio (2 U shaped pieces of wire that insert into the four holes and flex to release). It should have come in the packet with your RV papers - or you can buy at an auto parts store for about $7.
Good info. Thanks.

Sorry Don no link. I just went to the Camping World by the house and they have the one I installed in tan or white. I saw several metal rectangle ones but I don't know if they close or not. Didn't really look at them but they were next to the one I got.

Don,
Did you just replace the toggle switch with the pull switch?

Jerry

Jerry I put it in the existing hole but if I did it again I would probably just drill a new hole next to existing switch, I had to make 2 thin spacers one for top and bottom as the thumb screw on new switch was smaller than the existing rectangular hole and wouldn't tighten took me a couple of hours instead of 15 minutes but DW is happy

No sir...I have not messed with the radio yet!

Chris emailed me a custom tune that should address all my concerns. I'll download the custom tune and give it another try! I appreciated how willing to help 5 Star, great customer service!!!
Just curious, did the 5 star tune work out okay? I was looking at ordering one but I know you had a couple of issues with it.

Thanks,
Kev

Rv cover

Ok my friends, I am a happy camper!!! Several pages ago I informed you that I was going to have a "big" mod and here she is.....

The RV cover's dimensions are 24 feet wide, 36 feet long and 12 feet high with the peak of the roof at 14 feet.

The crew took only 4 hours to construct it and its a good thing too because the winds cranked up (25 mph from the West)...whew!!!!

Had some problems with the 5 Star, it didn't correct the downshifting problem, drifted way to much with cruise on, couldn't tell any power increase.

I called 5 Star, explained my problems, they were super nice. 5 Star has sent me a custom tune to download which they say will address the problems, haven't had a chance to try it yet, will report back when I do.
