That puts us out. We struggle to put together a book case so splicing wires is certainly out.

Received my Snap Pads yesterday, heavy little buggers! Another Thank You to Jerry for the idea! I noticed my jack pads were leaving marks on our driveway, the pads will stop that. Hopefully weather will cooperate today and I can get them on. I'll feel better when I'm staying with friends and relatives knowing I won't be damaging their driveways.

Dave and Don,
I hope youre fits properly. Seems my coach has been the only one with the smaller pads on my leveler systems. With the added bolts that i needed to use to keep the snap pads on they work great

Don, just so you know, the factory is backlogged with orders, guess Snap Pads have become very popular! The factory has started a second shift to help catch up but still took two weeks to get my pads. I believe it was worth the wait!
Jerry, Dino said his fit just fine, guess you got the oddball! Lol. Hope mine fit, will soon see.

a couple more things
If you leave your rig in stoarge this lock from MAster works nice, assuming you have the awning over the door. My rig got broken into and they stole eveything. It was in a 24 hr access place that was suppose to have security. Lost about $2000 worth of stuff... now I store it at a place open from 8 to 5 with guard dogs they let loose when they close..
Also, becuase of poor quality and bad roads the closet doors in the bedroom fly open now and then, these things from Home depot solved that problem.

My very first post on this thread was to show the curtains i installed behind the cockpit area. The thought was to keep the dash a/c cold air in this area and prevent hot air from entering the living area while parked and camping. Well it worked fine but i hated the loss of space when camping and it made the mh seem much smaller
We took the mh to las vegas on wednesday and we are coming home tomorrow morning. I mentioned to Maria that we should remove the curtain. While i was outside putting a few things away Maria got to work. When j got back in the curtains were gone. I'll keep them in the overhead bunk so we can use them if needed. We are keeping the towel rack attached to the bunk for now

LOL!!! Maria didn't waste any time! I had curtains similar to yours on our Sportscoach. I put the curtains on a 1/4 inch shock cord with a loop on each end, hooks on the wall to attach when needed. I rarely used them. I do like your coat hooks, keep forgetting to buy them.

Couple of things to report.
1st: Driving home from Vegas went well. I did notice the a/c was kept at a higher level because we removed the curtains. Not a problem but it was noticeable.
2nd: REAR TRAC BAR report: Its a great improvement. Before trac bar the rear of the mh would get pushed to the right causing the front to move to the left. This happened as soon as the semi got even with the rear of the mh. Then as the semi got even with the front of the mh it would push me to the right.
Both situations caused me to do a major steering correction.
Now with the rear trac bar installed I don't even notice the semi when it pulls along side of me, but as it get even to the front end it still pushing me to the right. I guess the stock Ford front trac bar isn't as good as the one I installed.
The push to the right isn't as bad as it was prior to the install. It one hand driving now.
The rear trac bar works so well that several times I didn't even know a semi was passing me until it got right next to me.
We also had a lot of strong winds driving home. Thankfully not the 50+mph we had while parked at the campsite. The wind moved us a little but still a one hand drive.
Overall I'm extremely happy with the trac bar.
I'll post a trip report here sometime tomorrow. Kind of tired after the 5+ hour drive home. Several road closures and Sunday afternoon Vegas traffic. Good thing is we already cleaned out the mh. Only thing left to do is refuel and laundry: http://www.thorforums.com/forums/f5/...-29m-5002.html
