Thanks,

Punch line,

- alignment first (presumably with loaded unit and a few miles on it)

- then safe t plus

- and last the CHF

I take it all the above are very wise, and best initial handling additions beforevwenhit the road....

Corrections or other views would be appreciated...

Let me know when you are going to do the job. I might be able to come over and lend a hand. It will all depend on what the boss, Maria, has planned for me.

Order your poly lube now. You should get it before the weekend.

I did the front this morning, going to wait until I have a wingman for the rear (I'm not as small as I used to be) but this should still help.

Good job. And i can see the blue loctite.

When you do the back there will be a z bar/bracket where the mounting link attaches to the sway bar. Just remove it and reverse it on the bar to do the chf. You might need it hit the z bracket with a hammer or wrench to get it off.
When you see it you'll understand what im talking about. Hardest part in doing the back is crawling under the mh. Not a lot of room under there.

I did see the z brackets. I had the rear jacked up to look, and it changed the position of the sway bar - it was high and looked like a long reach. If I didn't jack it up, there isn't much room under there... hence waiting for a wingman (preferably a skinny one!!)

There actually is plenty of room once you get under the mh. The tight squeeze is getting under the cargo compartments.

I had to exhale to get under to move the TireMinder repeater. I almost felt trapped once under since when I inhaled, I didn't fit under the cargo compartments. I finally squeezed out... so I guess it can be done but I want someone to be able to help if needed. I did see a channel through the underside where the drive shaft goes, so it does look like more space to operate.

Shawn62, Which Ford dealer did you go to? A few years back when I had some recalls I went to Bison Ford on Walden Ave. but they are now closed.

Campinking,

Basil Ford Commercial Truck Service Center. 1620 Walden Ave. Right next to the dealer.
Talked with Josh.

I'm doing research now for the 2018 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. From what I have read the 4 campgrounds are pretty much dry camping. They do have some power sites, its actually gen power by the cg, and water. No sewer anywhere.

Since the power is supplied by the cg gen I might as well just use my gen. I don't like dry camping but for 4-6 days I can rough it out. Its also first come first served but you can and should get reservations.

So if anyone here wants to joins us we can plan to meet somewhere a few miles away, I read there is a casino close by and its a good place to meet up, and then we drive to the cg together. That way we all camp next to each other.

From my reading it seems good to get there 1 day before it starts and stay at least 4 days or more.

Anyone have experience here or suggestions please let me know.

Also who's interested in going. Dino?? Dave?? Kev?? Don?? Anyone??

I know its 1 1/2 years away but I have lots of other trips planned so I need to look into this now. Also booking a camp site needs to be done in advance. I know I'll be stopping in several areas of Arizona before N.M. and maybe a city of two after. SO the planning is starting.

THanks Jerry
