Surgery went well, lots of small bone spurs irritating the joint, very small rotator cuff tear, fixed with an anchor, a very successful surgery and a very good surgeon. Myra's goofy as a Loon from the anesthesia and pain meds! Got her in bed sleeping.
Thank you everyone for your support, means a lot!!!

Quick mod today in this heat. Added a holder to the wall for Maria. Matches mine. She had something else there attached with command hooks. The glue just doesnt hold up in the heat. This mod is permanent.
I still need to find a cup holder for her and attach it to the wall.

Sounds exactly like what I had done 2 months ago (on a Thursday morning as well). Tomorrow evening will be the peak of her pain so tell her to take what was prescribed as directed before she starts feeling it.
I hope her recovery goes as well as mine. I was out of the sling in 2 weeks and I took our MH out on a 4 day trip 3 weeks after the surgery. I've been almost back to normal for the last 3 weeks.

I used 3 self tapping screws. There is actually metal running the entire width there. The screws are at the top of the holder.

Thank you very much! The doctor said she should be out of her sling in about a week. From what I've been told this doctor is one of the best in the whole Dallas area for shoulders. Myra had been to two previous orthopedic surgeons and all they wanted to do were repeated injections, fine for masking the symptoms but not curing the problem. When we saw this doctor he immediately told us that injections were a waste of time and the problem was only going to get worse. When he showed me the pictures from the laparoscopy it was clearly evident he was 100% correct. Very nice man, even took the time to say a prayer at the bedside before the surgery!

Maria said she bought them at Target in the office/desk area maybe 5 years ago. She used them for make up storage.
She was throwing the two away. I took one and installed it on the drivers side. So she saved the ither one just in case she wanted it on her side.
Here a pic of the one i installed in drivers, side several months ago. I used the tape to line it up. Sorry no finished pic

I think that's a great idea! I've been toying with different ideas for a small storage idea on the drivers side every since I installed the cup holder for Myra. I'm going over near our Target either today or tomorrow and will look for something similar. I like how your holder has several small places to hold different items.

When I originally saw this mod I wanted to duplicate it and put one on the passenger side. I found these at Amazon which work great for us:

Just an FYI for everyone in case you don't know. I have called the Ford Motorhome division a couple of times with questions, I got thru within a couple on minutes and they were super nice.
Your coach chassis is originally registered to Thor, you need to make sure the registration is transferred to your name so you can receive bulletins and recall notices. Ford told me that a lot of times dealers don't send the information to them so they still have Thor listed as the owner and then they have no way to notify the current owner.
A quick phone call to Ford will make sure they have YOUR information. You will need to have your chassis vin available when you call. The number for the Ford Motorhome division is: 1-866-906-9811 or 1-800-392-3673
