I also received a call from a Thor rep to inform me that due to a shortage of the propane/electric rv fridges we will be getting a residential fridge with its own additional inverter and a generator auto start switch.
Delivery wont be until late Feb to early March so I have plenty of time to start ordering goodies.
Wondering if anyone has installed Hellwig anti sway bars on the F53 chassis and could comment on any improvements, I installed them on our Axis and the difference in handling was incredible.
Thanks,

Before you spend the money on upgraded sway bars try the chf first. Use the saved money on a rear track bar. Also look into the safe t plus upgrade.

Thanks Jerry, I will definitely do the CHF before making any decisions on the Hellwig bars.
I installed front Sumo stops on our Axis and they made a considerable difference in the jarring effects from bumpy roads, I will most likely install them on the Hurricane as well.
We really love our Axis but found it to be just a little to cramped when we have anyone else with us so we chose the Hurricane over a Tiffin Allegro due to its slightly smaller size.

The antisway bar brackets have two holes on them. Stock is set at the outer hole. Moving them to the inside hole is the cheap handling fix or chf. Heres i pic of the front after being moved.
Doing the chf will raise the front of the sway bar. It has no bad effects and most people leave it this way. Some extend their links or add plates like i did. Adding the plates lowers the sway bar so its level. Second pic wont load ill add it on anotger post

Hey Jerry, could you tell much difference between the CHF and without and with the plates?

I only did the test drive and drive home, 30miles street driving, without chf. Chf was one of the first things i did. So i cant say how it improved the ride. Adding the plates did not change the ride.
Ive read hundreds if not thousands of posts on irv2.com before buying my mh. I new the first suspension mod would be the chf.
Rear track bar did the most for me in handling. It seems every mh is different. What works for me may not do much for you. Thats why you should do one mod at a time to see the improvement before doing another

Finally, after almost three months, got to move in to our new home. Buyers of our house in Texas asked for 4 extensions, kept saying they didn’t have money for down payment, day before they were to close they went on a cruise, came back and said they changed their mind and didn’t want the house! AND wanted their earnest money back!!! Buying our house has truly been a test of faith and patience!
Boxes everywhere, keep hoping the box fairies will show up while I’m asleep and unpack everything, guess they don’t know where we live. 17 degrees and snowing, the view off our deck across the bay is beautiful!
Put our Windsport in a friends barn for the long winter, after living in the coach for the last three months I’m going to miss it!
My sincere best wishes to everyone for a VERY Merry Christmas!!! 🎄

The instructions look straight forward. I just got them because they were on back order due to a redesign. Hopefully they will work as good as they did on the Vegas.

Jerry are your fronts two pieces or one? How did you spread the suspension out enough to squeeze them in?
Thanks,
