I assume the rear trac bar that was installed was a Blue Ox as the steering stabilizer was also Blue Ox and the service manager said they were all trained in Blue Ox installations. When looking at the installation description, they had to relocate the parking brake cable mount on the passenger side to allow for new sway bar mounting bolts and spacer plate. Cost was $442 installed.
When talking to service manager, I explained the problem of the "tail wagging the dog" and sway. He suggested that we go with the rear trac bar first and try that. If it wasn't handling as I wanted, we could go back and place the sway bar on. The sway bar installation was more expensive than the trac bar.
The steering stabilizer cost me $1523 installed and the alignment $238. I decided that, after reading all the helpful posts on this forum, I was comfortable doing these mods to our Windsport. Even though I only drove it home since installation, I can really tell the difference and glad we went that way with the rear trac bar and steering stabilizer. Hope that helps...
Got word that our Hurricane 29m arrived at the dealer, can't wait to see the "residential" refrigerator install.
Now to get busy and start ordering goodies for the mods.
[QUOTE=DinoC41;110487]Hello PPLAUG...I recently purchased and installed theater seats in my Windsport 29M
Thank you Dino. Is this the RecPro 67"?
My wife and I were looking to replace the couch.
She saw a unit at Camping World but that one would not fit with the center console.
The one you pictured looks like the one I found. RecPro 67".
Was wondering if comfortable and reclines back all the way?
What about the vent that comes out on the side of the couch nearest to the driver seat?
Did you have to do anything different to the floor?
What about securing to floor?
Sorry for all of the questions but just want to make sure before I buy.
Finished the love seat install today. I bought an oak board to put on the face of the slide. Was going to stain it like Rich did but didnt think Maria would like it. So a took a door off the kitchin cabinet and had home depot match the color. Put three coat of paint on it yesterday. Debated on wheather to counter sink the bolt but becided not to. After thr wood was installed i painted the screw heads
As for the heat venting that was coming out the side of the sofa. I bought some hvac fitting from home depot. In the one pic you can see it behind the love seat
The love seat is so much more comfortable than that sofa. Another must project

I really really do appreciate it.

Yes its the RecPro 67. And it does recline all the way back if its moved to the very front of the slide platform. I screwed mine down with two 1-1/2" self tapping screws on the front rail/bracket. THe seat belts are attached around the seats and shoved down between the seat/seat backs.
When the old sofa comes out you will see a black rubber bumper on the face of the slide platform. Pretty ugly. Several of us removed it and put a wood rail there. Makes it look much better.

Thank you soo much Jerry. I tried to look back thru all the pages on this forum before asking this question and did not see it.
I bow down to you, Dino and everyone else for all the good info.
As we all know, the 29M's cargo doors do not have gas struts installed to keep them from flapping in the breeze so I installed my own this weekend on every cargo door with a slam latch plus the LP compartment door for a total of 6 doors.
The following parts were purchased from Camper Parts, Camper Supplies, RV Parts, RV Supplies: RVupgradestore
20-1110 JR Products GSNI-5300-10 Gas Spring 20" length 10 Lb force (6)
20-1071 JR Products BR-12552 Gas Spring Angled Out Mounting Bracket (6)
20-1072 JR Products BR-12695 Gas Spring Raised Mounting Bracket (6)
I also used 6 4"X4" stainless steel plates as backing on the doors. I happened to have some on hand but you can get them at any hardware store. The Raised brackets were installed approx 20" from the door hinge in the compartment. The steel plates were glued on the door approx 4" from the door hinge. The Angled Out brackets are screwed into the plates. I also used #10X1" self tapping screws for the raised brackets and #10X5/8" self tapping screws for the angled out brackets.
That about does it. If you have questions, just ask. Pictures attached.

Nice clean installation, good job! The storage doors on ours flop down when opened, I hate it! I made up some cheap tethers to keep them from hitting the ground. I used crimp on wire eyelets and stranded picture hanging wire I had on hand. A couple of them pulled off when they slammed open, but they were easy to fix and have done their job pretty well.
