Another option for mirror & rear camera monitors

I've never really liked looking down and to the right to use the camera monitors, neither the lag time for the switching. Nothing new on this thread, as several members have modified this system on their individual units.
I came up with this mod and placement so I only have to change my focus to see the camera monitors. I removed the switcher/splitter system and wired each camera to a monitor, provided power to each via 1 switch for all three.
I also had to wrap the radio coax with extra RF shielding due to interference from the monitors when they are powered.

I never really used the side cameras much, relied on the mirrors more, but now I have no excuses.

Merry Christmas and hoping for a great New Year!

Yep, I have to find the info. The hard part was the camera cord to monitor adapter.

Poor service?

I ordered the steering stabilizer from RVupgrades and the bracket from Safe t plus 3 F150k2.5.
Got both in only to find the bracket kit came without the bolts, washers and nuts to assemble the thing.
Called in to returns desk, told them I'd be happy if they'd just send the bolts etc. to save them the return and postage on the new kit. She says she'd have to contact the warehouse to see if they had them and it may take a couple days. I was fine with yah as it's be raining so much. Six days later I called back, she still hadn't heard from the warehouse so I said lets return the original and get a new one in route. That one went out same day, I asked about the return authorization she says it will be 5 days. Ok They're in no hurry.

Monday the new kit arrives, no bolts washers or nuts. The directions show the parts are part of the kit. I'll give them a call today to see If I can get them to open the kit before sending to insure that parts are in it. I'd like to get this installed this month.
I'll report what happens

We havent had that problem. The mattress pad seems to hold it in place

Might want to call tech support instead of return desk. Thats ridiculous that both kits arrived with no bolts

Leaking slide gaskets

FYI. Just a heads up. I spent the last 2 winters in Florida. Leaving the middle of November from Western NY state. I haven’t left yet this year. Not sure when I will. I didn’t put a cover over The Windsport. She sits outside. We have had many freeze thaw cycles. It was over 50 degrees today. I fire up the heater and run a dehumidifier on days like this. I noticed water on the floor by the bed. Investigation revealed that water leaked by the top slide gasket and pooled there until it leaked down the side. I have another thing to watch. I was planning on building a garage for her this summer anyways.

Is the top of the slide tight against the wall? The slide awning is above the top of the slide, so water would have a hard time running down the wall, behind the gasket, and into the coach.
