Or are you just replacing vent covers?

Never done any of this before..... Thanks for the help.

First you have to remove the cover from the ac, mark the outside of the cover so you know where you want to cut. You cut the side toward the rear of the mh. Thats where the cold air come out. Take the vent apart, its two pieces.
I first marked where the hole should be using the vent as a templet so it was centered then drilled a hole big enough for my jigsaw blade to fit, then cut the hole.
You can buy a jigsaw cheap at walmart, home depot etc
I just used small self tapping screws. I used a small drill bit to make a pilot hole. Didnt want to crack the ac housing
Hope that helped you
Jerry

the outer ring of the vent pops off giving you an area to screw it down. The outer ring covers and hides the screws

Now the question makes sense, I thought he wanted to add a vent somewhere in the RV not the a/ c

I used the seat belt bolt on the side that has seats belts. Took the bolt into the hardware store so I could match it. Friend came over to supervise me drilling the hole on the other side. The hard part was rebuilding the framing of the DR seats. They were so bad I doubt they would hold up a human for very long.

Do RV’s have the pins upside down? I am assuming they should go in from the top? Before I closed on this MH I sent a inspector to the dealer. He found so many things wrong. Best money I ever spent. Dealer didn’t seem to happy I did that.

I am trying to work with Thor on gutters for my MH. First they said it should have come with them and sent me what they thought I needed. It was not what I needed. Now Thor is saying the 31Z doesn’t come with gutters. Does anyone out there have gutters on their Hurricane? Thanks

The pic I sent it looks like the channel (may not be the correct name) is there and all I would need to do is slide the gutter into the channel? Does anyone know if gutters are available for Hurricanes? I would think this would be a popular mod...

Good for you! Glad yo were able to hold the dealer accountable for getting things done! And , Yes, I saw pins on the bottom side of the hinge where they should be reversed in my mind, but if they are "generic doors" and the hinge comes already installed on the door before being installed on the coach, they were just turned over and installed.

I've seen some Gutter installs with the material (purchased on Amazon) actually placed on top of the roof, along the edge, front the back
That way the rain or moisture doesn't escape the roof side to side, but rather always runs front to back
And you don't need to worry about it not being perfectly straight if it was on the side of the RV
I'm only able to find Black or White (no beige/off-white)
But either works on top edge as seen in photo

Is the door handle at the normal level?

About those streaks!!! I found that those Magic Eraser scrubing pads work wonders on those. Made by Mr. Clean and other copy cats. They really do work on those black streaks, grey matter on moldings, stubborn water marks from the AC dripping down the side.
