Nice Dino. I like the carpet on top.

I removed my cover and its stored in the garage. It worked great when we had the 2 big labs. We dont need it now that they are gone. Little Sasha has plenty if room and has never fallen in the step well yet

Oooh! I like that, Dino. Nice job! If you're not careful, Thor's going to hire you as a design consultant!
I think something like this makes it so much safer -- especially when reaching up to check on meters and such.

Cheers!

Dino, did you use a Piano hinge on this or 2 other types? I've been looking to do this but my wife thinks it will look terrible - I think yours looks great, and I'll show her how good it can look!

Thanks

We have a stairwell in our 27K but the cat needs access to the bottom of the stairs where her litter box is located in the little boot closet. We had a vacuum operated cover in our diesel pusher and leaving it closed when traveling and a night time, was very nice. It also provided a welcome place for the front seat passenger to put her feet.

Thanks Kent...the cover makes it safe for my furbabies to roam around and for my wifey to reach the control box too!

While I like the idea and stability, I'm not sure I want to drill holes in the floor - thanks for giving me ideas!

It's only the first hole that is painful. The rest are easy to do.

Oh no, for the price, they would all hurt and my wife would really hurt me for putting holes in the coach - she'd put several holes in my head!1 and as a former/retired LEO, I avoided that for 18 years, no reason to get "wacked" now!

No holes needed in the floor. I used the hinge to join two pieces of wood together to cover the opening and to make it easier to store. We kept it against the wall next to the passenger seat after setting up at the campsite.

I got a Tireminder TPMS for our ACE 30.4 and love it. It allows me to monitor tire pressure and temperature on the 6 RV tires as well as the 4 tires on our race car trailer. I mounted the signal booster on the tow hitch bar in the rear, just below the bumper, and tapped into the tow harness for power. I also included a simple on/off toggle switch so I could shut it off when not in use.

That looks great, now if I could just get a swivel mount that I'm sure would fit!

outdoor fridge

Hey guys, haven't been on here in a while. Hope all is well. My outdoor fridge has quit, lasted a year one month. Has anyone replaced theirs? Did you go back with same model or have you found a better replacement?
