We have to be careful if we lower the bunk to insure the visors are folded flat or they could easily do damage to the dash.
I was told the fans are for defrosting the windshield not for cooling the driver. Ours are mounted to the bunk and don't turn enough to point at driver or passenger

Plus with lithium they don't charge if under 32F so inside is better in that regard.

Another plus is that unlike acid batteries, lithium don't emit any gasses so again, inside is OK.

AGM, same benefit much lower cost no temp concerns. Still more cost effective. Come on LI, stop gouging.

AGM is still a vented lead acid battery, having them 'indoors' would be problematic as they can actually vent hydrogen.

Yep Dino. I will be busy. I have the Curt brake controller installed. The dealer is doing the CHF and installing the Supersteer SS401 Rear Trac Bar. Saturday to the Ford dealer for alignement and install the Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer. I also order a Rockville RVD14BGB Black/Grey/Tan 14" Flip Down Car DVD 1920 x 1080 res. to mount in the front between the fans. It will mirror the cameras and show the rear view of the trailer/toad going down the road. Pics when I get'er done!

Made some mods to our ACE 30.4 last week:

Installed Supersteer SS400 rear track bar to reduce tail wagging, Sumo Springs up front to smooth out the ride and reduce body roll, and Hellwig 7962 adjustable end links to fix the sway bar geometry post-CHF. Greatly improved driving, especially in crosswind conditions. We normally tow a 6000# enclosed, double axle race car trailer, and we’re getting blown around a bit. I recently towed from CA to Austin, TX for a race and those winds in the TX hill country were no fun. No problem now.

Also insulated the dog house and under the passenger and driver areas with RattleTrap, which really reduced engine noise transmitting into the cockpit.

Direct Fit Locking Fresh Water Inlet

From the Facebook page.

‎CR Carter‎ to Thor Windsport/Hurricane Motorhome Owners

I know a lot of y’all were wanting a locking water fill so I thought I would show you this option I used. There is no cutting, drilling. Just remove and replace screws into same holes as original and yup I reused them to!

I'm ordering one now.

Thanks. I will go measure mine tomorrow. I wasn’t keen on cutting my Axis - I’d have to wait until DW went out if town- but this looks like the way to go.
