Some additional items you may need to complete the mod

Just got it back from some warranty work. The kitchen sink was in fact clogged with debris. They replaced it and it works fine now. I figured out the water heater last week. There is a water heater bypass behind it within a panel in the bedroom. Lastly, when I tried to fill the fresh water tank, it was immediately coming out of the overflow, I found a bypass under the bed to solve that as well. Now ready to go for the season.

There’s certainly a learning curve on these things! Congratulations on getting it figured out and underway. Happy travels.

Smell coming from under Kitchen Sink area
31Z owners and maybe others if your kitchen sink area is above the Sewer bay compartment. There is a 5 X 10 inch hole in the floor behind the panel covering the hot water tank and other connections. I stuffed a large sponge in the hole and then used low expanding foam to fill in the rest. If I have a problem later, this stuff is easy to tear out.
In the photo you can see the foam and the basic shape of the hole. The cutoff valves were added when I had to replace the kitchen faucet because of a leak. Now I can cut the water off to just the sink faucet. The orange cable is an extension cord going to the sewer bay where the water pump and several water lines converge. I keep our MH in our RV barn, but when the weather goes below freezing I connect a 250 watt heater. I do drain everything, including the HW tank, but a little electricity is cheaper than freeze repairs. The magnet against the back wall is one of four used to hold the panel that covers the HW tank and various gas and water line connections. Faster and easier than removing all those screws when the panel needs removing for access.
Sorry, the pics are on their side. Could not find a setting to turn them.

Thanks for the info and pics. You know how you have a drawer under one side of the dining table. I took the other side off and added magnets to it. Easy on easy off.

Mike from Alabama,
I like your RV barn. It looks like it is very hurricane resistant. What are its dimensions?
Here's our RV barn.

Our RV barn is 20 by 40 feet and a little over 13 feet high. It had a 12 by 12 opening for the door, but I had to take out the top part since the 31Z is a little over 12 foot tall. It is R panel galvanized tin over an old army maintenance tent frame. These were originally covered with canvas and had roll-up canvas doors in each end. I poured piers for the frame legs to bolt to, where they were staked to the ground.

Vegas/Axis uses the same B&B Water Fill Inlet as the one in Hurricane Mods Post 4236.
So I will order one as well.

Oh I like that one. Very simple to install too.
I just looked... Amazon has one simular but its more smooth looking (looks less like a gas cap if that make since) at the same price. So either one will work for me.

What did you plug the other end of the extension cord into?
