Hey Rich, Im also considering these recpro seats. Looks like a pretty simple install. Did you keep the sea tbelts in place. The recpro sites specifically recommends NOT using the seat belts with these chairs but perhaps others have figured out a way. thx.

Boost Your RV Air Conditioner Performance With This Cheap, Easy Fix!

I watched a YouTube video today that showed me how I can improve the efficiency of my 2 air conditioners in "Windy". The Form Divider in both A/Cs were out of alignment and had to be readjusted. I used 3M Foil Tape to secure the Form Dividers in place. Here is the link to the video:

https://youtu.be/rxCljBVi8DU

The roll of Foil Tape was less than $5.oo at Lowe's and I have plenty left over!

just wrap them around the seat clip the belts together and push them between the backs and seat. Always there if you need them

Yes, you can use the stock seat belts with the 68" Theater seats from recpro!

Reciprocal seats

Hi Dino,

I didn’t get the seats as my 27.2 has an outsize TV behind the couch, so wouldn’t fit. They seem to fit well in slides. I bought a couple of footrests/storage containers on Amazon, and as they fold flat and fit under the jackknife couch. Too bad, I liked them.

Sounds like the lawyers are talking. I’m sure they are concerned that an owner will compromise the seat belts while installing the seats. For my ACE 30.1 I didn’t touch the seat belts other than than to route them up into the seats inside the frame, clip them together and tuck them into the seats as Jerry did. It’s basically the same as it was with the old jackknife sofa. I can see if you route the seat belts outside the frames you might have a wear point

It has been really hot here in Houston. We took our dogs to a dock diving competition. The two A/C units were working very hard. After we got back I took the covers off. Didn’t take a pic of the front a/c unit but it was about the same as the back a/c. Not sure this is a mod or a fix. Click image for larger version

Coleman Mach 3 ac units

We have owned our unit for four years now We just had the front unit replaced for the second time
The repair guy was extremely knowledgeable and explained to me that Coleman has informed its service people that a three life is the current life expectation for these units

Apparently the connection between the coils and the compressor are causing a lot of issues

That is a discouraging bit of information for Coleman AC owners. Is the issue deterioration over time or over a certainly amount of use?

Based on the info from the Entegra site it is the quality of the copper tubing. There tend to be small impurities in the tubing that weaken the tube's wall, so after many heat cycles the tube develops a pinhole leak. Wieland-Kessler supposedly had found the problem and corrected it but it will take a couple years for all the bad A/C units to be filtered out of the system.

Looks like you need to reposition the "foam" divider and eliminate any gaps!!

I had a good size opening behind my outdoor tv. Didn’t take a pic but if you have a tv outside look behind it. I also had openings under the dashboard, in the firewall. They were small and easy to fix.

Does anyone know where this hose should go? I looked under the dashboard and don’t see anything. It’s just above the accelerator. I have never used the heater so maybe it’s for that?Click image for larger version
