Doghouse insulation

I just finished adding the extra insulation under the doghouse. The DW has not decided what she wants around the fireplace I installed, but she will. That's a slick idea about moving the sani-flush connector, but I don't think I am going to do that one. I still want to get SUMO springs. I really like this particular forum. Real people, great ideas.

You will really like the SUMO springs. Made a huge difference in my Hurricane 31Z.

Or we can do it at pechanga in November

Only thing you need to buy is a 2" nipple,1/2", pipe tape, and some caulking. I have the hole saw

slide out

Anyone ever had issues with the white slide out gaskets? I have never had issues with my slide out till tonight. Wouldn't go all the way out then noticed the gasket in the bedroom hanging out was stuck in the gears slightly. even while holding the gasket the slide out will only go out about half way. Wonder if I am out of line?

Awning LED rope lights coming down

Hello Friends: I have a new issue...maybe someone can help.

Awning lights: mine are sewn into the top of the awning with thread. That DID NOT last. My LED rope lights work, but they were "drooping." So I got on a ladder and looked closely. The stitching was coming loose in several places. So I tried to glue those spots back up with gorilla glue (no joy). So I pulled the lights down. t was very easy because the thread was just coming apart. Has anyone else suffered this annoying LED rope light issue? Looking for repair insights, sympathy, a winning lottery ticket, etc. Help...

That, sir, is a great idea!
Now, if I can stay awake between now and November, I should be able to remember everything I need

Thanks, Jerry.

Another project done this morning. I added an additional seelevel monitor in the sewer bay. This way I can see how full the black tank gets when cleaning it with the saniflush

Much easier to install than the original monitor inside the mh

The power wires to the 2 sensors are right at the tanks and I got power ground from the cargo bay light to the right of the black tank

I mounted the monitor on a 2 gang plastic electrical box. Used my jigsaw to cut out the hole on a blank cover. Used double sided tape and a couple drops of silicone to stick it to the front of the black tank

Used a lot of gorilla tape to hold the wires up to the black tank

Did anyone relate to my post on 5-8-2020? Awning lights falling down?
I welcome any ideas for how to fix this problem.

Mine came off also. I took it the rest of the way down and bought a self adhesive one from Amazon and stuck it just below the awning and works great.

Awning LED rope lights coming down

Hi Mannclan,
Thanks for the info on the new lights.
Yes, I was a bit dissappointed when I got a closer look at why the lights were falling down, just to discover that they were sewn into the awning with a small thread, not even nylon thread. I am surprised that many others have not complained about this same thing. Or, maybe they have and I just have not seen the posting (thread...no pun intended).

I will have a look at the lights you suggested. I really would like to be able to use the light strip that came down. All of the lights still function.

Nice Jerry,
Did mine under seat, new wires and left original hooked up, did not do propane its always accurate. It was easy to run wires thru battery compartment under the seat.

They have been up for 6 months, but have been stuck in Fl. Should be in Alaska next week but that will have to happen in 2021.

How do you get the bottom of your awning so clean?

I put the first original monitor where the old stock one was at

The new one is mainly used when using the saniflush system

To much for me, didn't want to tackle that. I left that original.

Yeah getting the old monitor out was. Very easy. Hard part was cutting the hole in the panel for the new monitor. Dremal took some time but got it done
