An accumulator tank also "stores" pressure as the air in the tank is compressed. Thus you can turn on a faucet and the pump won't immediately turn on.

One of the best advantages of an accumulator tank is preventing the pump from running in the middle of the night when someone has to get up to use the restroom.

At 18 ounces, it isn't going to store much, not enough for a good flush with the pump off. I had planned on installing the vinyl hose for sound dampening, figured I would install the tank too. This is the third MH I've put an accumulator tank in and like them.

Been busy today! These are before and after photos of my accumulator tank install. Got the tank from Amazon, 1/2 inch tubing and fittings from Lowes. Had to move the pump so everything would fit, luckily the Thor fittings would swivel just enough to make connections easier.

Dino, when we meet up I'd like to look at your battery filler, took me over 30 min to get batteries filled. I said a lot of bad words trying to fill the back battery!
Roger that my friend and nice job on the Accumulator install!

I think the hardwired electrical management system and accumulator should be standard equipment motorhomes. I like the concept of the accumulator.

Stairwell light

I seen these on the new MH at the shows and thought this was a great add on. Hooked it up to the switch fr the outside light so the both come on at same time when going out in the dark. Also works great to light up that dangerous hole that gets me in the middle of the night wondering around in the dark

I put one in my Vegas and it stopped the hammering sound when using the water pump. This was one of the better mods I did.

thanks Jerry I have an additional light didn't know if I wanted to hook it up to an additional switch to use it as a night light or hook it up to the outdoor step light so when you open the door it automatically turns on and off with the door

I use a wall plate with LEDs and a light sensor on the entrance wall. I had to change out the duplex receptacle and box to make it work. Of course it only works when you have 120V power. <http://www.solidsignal.com/pview.asp?p=snp1001>

On our step doesn't matter for porch or awning light, step light come on when pressure is applied to the step, goes off when pressure is released.

Beau,
Take a pic of the wall plate so everyone can see what you did

I first saw the step light on our first trip. Maria turned it on when i was out walking around. I like it on so i dont trip over it. SD if yours only comes on when you step on it that might be to late.

I like it on all the time and it looks cool also. I want to add color leds under the mh also. The step light will be a good place to tie into so i can control it from the switch

Amazon here i come with another order
