Looks good guys i still use mine as a portable unit on tripod when I had it temporarily mounted on roof I had issues getting signal on sites with trees when I was able to move it on tripod I was able to get the antenna to an area to get signal, going to play around with it over the next several months to see what works best. I would like to hopefully mount

Hey guys...there are 2 separate cables...1 for the Wi-Fi booster and 1 for the Satellite...both terminate directly above the cabinets over the Dining Room cabinets, it just looks like one long cable (LOL)

Yes, those are 100 watt panels. We saved room for more if we should decide to go down that path...

Poor mans cold air intake, don't know if it helps, but sure can't hurt since it is drawing air from a cooler source. Did this a long time ago before I figured out how to post pictures. On the far right side behind the grill is a dryer exhaust vent with the louvers removed, it is zip tied to the grill. I used a standard flexible dryer vent hose to connect to the filter intake horn, luckily it was the same size! Between the vent, an elbow, two hose clamps, and some left over vent hose, it probably cost less than $15 to make.

jpmihalk Please tell me about your solar panels. How do you like them, how much do the run, and what do you primarily use them for?
This is a great thread. Thanks everyone for the imput.

Our solar panels are part of a kit from Renogy solar. We got them on Amazon and the kit includes the panels, mounting hardware, wiring and the 30A PWM controller. The kit ran around $630. We use it for topping off the batteries and to boondock at tailgate events without hookups. Since we have a residential fridge, we added two extra house batteries (for a total of 4) to be able to effectively double the amount of time we can stay off shore or generator power.
We did a lot of research and found a few extra things that helped. We added fuses both between the controller and the panels and the controller and the batteries. This is just an added measure of protection. We installed the kit ourselves, using the mounting hardware and plenty of Dicor to seal the mounts and holes in the roof.
We went this way so we have room to grow. We can easily add panels and update the controller to MPPT for more efficient power management as well as handle the higher power generated.
So far, so good. We added the solar kit within a week of purchase and have been quite pleased with it. We generally only have to run the generator in the morning for coffee and microwave, and in the evening to charge the batteries fully before bed. The only exception has been when the AC needed to be run, definitely need the genny for that.
Good luck and you will find lots of help on these forums!

Quick mod this afternoon. Installed a rack/junk holder next to the armrest. Was hoing to mak something but Maria clean up her room and was going to throw 2 of these holders away. Was going to put one on her side but she likes to what she has there now
I know the walls are thin so i think i went over board in the install. Used a piece of scraped angled aluminum i had to make a base for it to sit on. 2 screws there and 3 in the holder on top. I put 3 pieces of double stick tape also but it wouldnt stick so the 3 screws on top were added

I got the screen within about a week, a lot more than is actually needed. I haven't decided whether to mount the screen behind or in front of the original grill, leaning toward backside for ease of installation.
