Forgot to add this on my bracket post. Ford uses the upgraded poly bushing for the front and rear sway bars but they do not lube them. I removed my front sway bar before installing the brackets. I bought 4 small tubes of super lube (made for poly bushing) on ebay. Removed and lubed the bushibgs then reinstalled the sway bar. I didnt need the bottle jack to raise the bar to install the brackets. The bar now easily moves free. Before the lube i could not pull the bar down to mark the holes for the bracket

If you or Dino decide you really want the brackets i can have my friend weld them up for you guys. Id take mine off for the hole patern template. The metal cost a little over $20 and id want to give him a few bucks for his time and welding rods. Shipping would probably be around $10 priority mail

Take care of that heart

Jerry

Sirius xm radio

Surprised the "Navigator" today with my latest installation...The SiriusXM Onyx Plus with Vehicle Kit! She hates looking for music on the FM radio when traveling. She loves the new addition to our audio system.

Dino, like your addition of XM. A question: Did Thor leave enough slack in the various wires connected to the back of the radio to safely pull it out without inadvertently disconnecting any of them? Thanks.

If you have an android phone and sirius in your car youncan add it to your phone for a couple of bucks a month and just run it thru bluetooh on the radio. Works really well and it would be easier for those not technically inclined. Just a thought.

Tom, I used the "Audio In" jack in the front of the head unit to connect the Sirius XM.

You are correct but we did not have a Sirius account prior to this install.

I'm too cheap for Sirius XM. we use TuneIn app to listen to our hometown station. Connect to phone with Bluetooth.

What I want to do is to pull out the radio to check the antenna connection because reception is terrible. I worry that everything will come unplugged when I pull the radio from the front. Any experience there?

Another simple and quick mod. Replaced the bedroom heater vent with an adjustable vent from camping world Click image for larger version

This should help during cold night. We used the heater on our last trip to the mountains. The bedroom got way to hot from this floor vent. So now we, i mean i, can adjust it at night

Don't know which radio you have - mine has the Jensen RV210T - and no problem pulling it out - plenty of wire to work with...
Just need the 'super secret' tool to release the radio (2 U shaped pieces of wire that insert into the four holes and flex to release). It should have come in the packet with your RV papers - or you can buy at an auto parts store for about $7.
