Converter

Just curious if anyone has found the need to upgrade the converter on the Windsport/Hurricane.

I installed two volt meters to check the condition of the house batteries and the chassis battery. I also have a Progressive Industries EMS-30C surge guard which monitors the input voltage and amperage to the coach. You can use the inverter to check the house batteries if you turn the inverter on. So far, the WFCO power center and converter charger has worked perfectly. I did loose the battery charging relay but Thor sent me a replacement under warranty. It took a while to get used to the cooling fan turning on and off under the bed.

Beau,
I agree with all you said, exspecially that fan motor. I can't tell you how many tiems I woke up wondering what did I leave on. searching around in the dark by ear trying to find the noise. Anyone find a quieter fan. GRR

Yes have considered replacing wfco converter mostly due to noise of the fan always coming on looking at BD 1255 MBA 55 Amp 4-Stage Main Board Replacement from best converter

If you hold your cursor over the image posted, the name of the file is AV6225BH.JPG, so I assume that it is the AXXERA AV6225GH. Here is a link to more information on it: AV6225BH - DVD Receiver with Built-In Bluetooth®, DualMirror? Technology, HDMI Input and RGB Custom Colors

For what it's worth, I have the 2017 Thor Hurricane (sister to the Windsport), and they put an AXXERA AV615BHM radio in mine.

Ok thanks for the info. I have a Windsport 31S coming in at the end of the month and I wanted to read up on the radio before it arrives. I guess I won't know until it gets here since you and Dino have different models in the same year coach.

2x4 hdmi splitter switch box

Hello all,

I seemed to be having problems with my HDMI Splitter. The power indicator is blinking "red". Has anyone else experience problems with this component?

Hey Dino - I haven't had my power light blink but I did have to fix their set up - whoever plugged mine up did it completely wrong, then once I fixed it I discovered that the splitter worked but one of my HDMI cables did not. So it's on the list for Thor to fix next week when i take her in. But check the cables independently of the splitter to make sure they work.

Dino I think when it's blinking it means it isn't receiving a signal. I was playing with my splitter right after I got the coach, nothing hooked up to it yet and it blinked. After I installed a DVD player and turned it on the splitter quit blinking. Check your source in to the splitter.

Why are Marines always playing with their splitter?

What fuse if any protects Axxera radio

I am trying to trouble shoot my radio. Can any of you learned folks point me to the location of the fuse that protects it? The one on the rear of the radio is fine. 2017 Windsport 35M.

Thanx,

Checked the splitter this evening and found that the HDMI cable for the bedroom and Outside TV are defective. The HDMI cable for the Living Room TV works just fine. Looks like I will have to take "Windy" in for some warranty work.
