Got My Baby Back

Picked up our MH from Camping World this afternoon! Great to have her back home under the RV cover. All warranty work was completed and everything seems to be working A-OK!!

Good to hear Dino. Now you and Angie need to get out and use it.

Jerry, or anyne else;
In all your mod's to your coach, have you checked the AC for proper installation. I removed white vent cover, looked inside to find a divider between incoming and return air. It was sidewise so the incoming air was mostly returning back into the AC. I readjusted it to find a major difference in AC proformance. I need to create a better method to secure the divider, as it will surely get displaced during travel.

Hmmm pics would help. I removed the entire cover to add the vent below the a/c fan. Everything looked ok to me, not that i would know if something was wrong. We're leaving on a trip saturday so if i get bored I'll check it out again.

Im assuming you are talking about the side vents with the filters.

Roger that Jerry...Angie and I will be on our way to Austin, Texas to attend my grandson's graduation from the University of Texas next week. One more task to complete before we go. I am going to have the windshield replaced.

It blows a lot more cold air out. With the vent below the fan the air has a direct path out so it much stronger

Solar Suitcase Mod

Another Mod bites the dust for "Windy". I purchased the Renogy 100 Watt Suitcase Solar Kit and tested it today. Love that West Texas sun...6.0 amps at 10 am in the morning. Happy camper here!

You did it again Dino

Was thinking about doing this also but decided against it. Now you got me thinking about it again.

So I went to my buddies again today to work on his Fleetwood 32H. Third Friday in a row working on it.

Today was the Safe T Plus install. We got a late start and had to run to Harbor Freight to pick up a new impact wrench. We had to drive the motorhome up on ramps, luckily he has a home made pair. Ramps were need to make room to use the impact wrench. Install took maybe one hour. Went fast. I took the advise to get the front wheels as straight as possible. Went for a test ride and drove around Angel Stadium's parking lot. The Angels play tonight and we talked the parking lot attendant to let us in to do the test drive on the level parking lot.

No adjustments were needed. My buddy cant believe how well it drives now. He says its like driving a car. He is very happy.

So dinner at Houston's steak house will be on him after Maria and I get back from our Kern River trip. We leave tomorrow

Jerry
