That's pretty much what I want one for, odds and ends stuff and my sunglasses. I've already modified my cup holder so don't need it for that, just stuff.
Question, now that you've done track bar and sumo springs, which would you have done first? Looking at my next project, I'm thinking track bar first but would like your opinion before I decide. Also to keep me from having to dig, now that there are 90 pages (holy crap), which track bar did you order and from where? Thanks!!!

For me track bar first. Havent driven enough with the sumos to say what effect it has yet. And with the surgery in two weeks I might not know for 6 months or so.
I bought the Ultra track bar from Brazzles. Sorry don't remember the model number. Go to their site and do the search. They had the best price.
If you do the install make sure to talk to me first. I have several tip to do the job easier.

First oil change & Lube
Just did my first oil change. I bought a funnel at the local auto parts store today that had a hose attached and a shut off valve for $5.00. It also has lines showing quart, pint etc. . Hopkins 10704 FloTool Spill Saver Measu-Funnel. Amazon has them and you can order them from Walmart too. I bought a piece of 1/2 garden hose 3 feet long & 2 hose clamps and replaced the original hose because it was flimsy and looked like it would kink easy. Made changing the oil a breeze with the 5 quart jugs. Used a Motorcraft filter and I am trying the Mobil 1 Extended Performance w5-20 oil because Walmart was out of the plain Mobil 1. Lubed up the steering linkage too, they all had very little grease in them. If you like to do your own maintenance this may help you too.

Got this at the auto parts store, actually bought two, one for the engine and one for the generator. Probably could have used just one but they were cheap. I cut the hoses shorter and they work great.

Also I put a piece of thick scrap carpet under the pump and accumulator tank, wasn't sure if it would but it seems to make a big difference in noise and vibration. Plus it was CHEAP!!!

I searched this thread but didn't see anything about "roof" mods. What type of hardware/adhesives should I use for things like a satellite dish and solar panel brackets on my 29M?
Would marine adhesives work on our type of roof? Or which type of screws?
All input is VERY appreciated!!!

Nick,
Call thor and ask for the roof build sheet. I did. Thor put a 36"x36" sheet metal plate above the passenger area for satellite install. This is great so the satellite screws into metal instead of the roofing material. They might have done it for solar also. I didnt ask because im not interested in solar at the moment
Also your 2018 is prewired for satellite. Might be for solar also. Give them a call. They are very helpful.

Thank you sir....I will give Thor a call.
Nope....satellite dish didn't include mounting hardware. I guess they didn't want to be responsible for causing someone to drill into their roof!!! Thanks again!!!

Wow didnt know that. Ive been looking at the direct tv winegard traveller. Watched several videos of installs and i thought they said to use the provided screws. I might be wrong. Ill worry about it in 6 minths or so when i install mine.

Our Winegard Carryout G2+ and Roof Mount Kit came with all of the mounting hardware needed. We used self-leveling Dicor for the area where the mount feet are screwed into the roof and Eternabond tape was used for the wire runs.
We got the G2+ because it supports both DirecTV and Dish using dip switches on the power inserter in the media bay.
We have thought about the Winegard Travel’r for DirecTV so we can get HD (the domes can’t get DirecTV HD) but can’t really justify the $1800 price ($2000 installed.) We would rather go back to Dish Pay-As-You-Go instead and probably will when our DirecTV contract expires.

Quick mod for Maria before i head out for my Alaska fishing trip.
Dino and the two Daves. Maria told me to let you know this was her idea.
Went to Michaels craft store and bought a two pack of cheap 11x17 picture frames ($10). Then to home depot for two 12x18x 26 gauge sheet metal ($10). Cut the metal to fit in the frames and hung them up on the bathroom wall in between the vanity and cabinet.
Maria will attach magnets to bottles that contain various lotions and other stuff womens use to make themselves beautiful.
Took about 20 minutes to do. Know its time to finish some last minutes thing before the trip. 4am will be here very soon
