Key holder hook

Just did my first major mod to the Vegas. I call it “hook for key chain”. Was going to have several friends assist but did it solo. Critical alignment, adhesive application, calculation of earths rotation, etc. Expert level. Haters will say it’s easy but then haters gotta hate...
The rig is now officially “custom”.
Attached initial misalignments so no one feels bad trying this mod. Sorry the pictures are sideways.

Isn’t that going to hurt the resale value?

Possibly but I’m keeping the rig for a while and by the time I sell others may have embarked on similar major mods. I realize I’m blazing the trail on this one.

Aside from setting the seat position and tilting the steering wheel, yours was the first mod we made.
You've stepped onto a winding path that's hard to leave.
Next you'll be adjusting the water heater or putting felt pieces on the blinds so they don't bang the frame.

Turn back now before it's too late.

Too late to turn back. I’m already in too deep. Thinking of doing a paper towel holder install- total DIY on this one also. I appreciate the support - kindred spirits. You guys rock and I don’t think I could do it without my brotherhood here at the “Thor-um”.

Damn!
Now you're jumping way ahead!
I don't have a paper towel holder.
I can't decide where to put it.
Post pics when you're done.

To get a pic to post upright:
Edit it before posting.
Any small edit like a tiny crop will do.
I often just slightly whack an edge.
Mine ALWAYS post upright after an edit.
(this wasn't my discovery. Someone here mentioned it slightly in an unrelated post)

Will post it for sure. Need to get in touch with my “spirit animal” before install. It’s a duck bill platypus so it takes a while to get good answers.
Last paper towel holder was directly above the stove burners. Should’ve seen that “I smell something burning” thing coming.

paper towel holder

I installed our paper towel holder on the inside of the cabinet door above the stove - works wonderfully. It's out of the way and yet easy to get to.

I'll try some pics later on

Dave

I appreciate it Dave. My post was actually a bit "tongue in cheek" but a towel holder is actually something I need to do. I'm considering inside the cabinet as you mention (though the better half has loaded in wine bottles that may encroach that space) or above and slightly right of the sink.

We use a paper towel holder that goes over the door. Simple, handy, cheap and out of the way. Here's a pic from the web:

My pleasure. Humor is my best defense to counter my lack of mechanical ability.
