Leave of absence
Yesterday I cancelled our reservations at Dunedin and Fort Wilderness for September. Sunday night my wife and best friend passed due to Covid and a weak heart.
I will be selling the Windsport and see what the future holds.
I want to thank all of you for the volumes of information and the entertainment!
Hope all your miles are carefree!

Wow Leroy! I cannot imagine what you are going through and know that if I was in that position I would feel like my world had ended.
My father was put in that position in 2005 when my mother passed. They were avid golfers, RVers, and square dancers but those activities had been put on hold as my mother's health deteriorated.
After she passed, my father purchased a new RV (Casita trailer) and tow vehicle and traveled the country visiting old friends and relatives. After about 6 months he returned, got back into square dancing and golf and took up a new hobby to stay busy in his workshop/garage. He joined us many times on campouts with his Casita, stayed social and stayed busy. He passed away last July at 94 after dementia caught up with him the last two years.
Moral of this story - don't sell the RV yet - it may become a large part of your future adventures.
