Some good advice on these. Has anyone installed Sumo Springs on a Gemini?

I use a bean bag mount for the Garmin and before the Sumos it tended to migrate to the windshield when traveling on the Illinois Interstates. After the Sumos it stays put.
When you say it raised the coach 1.5", was that measured in the front?

My coach was loaded near the max ready for a three week trip. I suspect it was in the 17,700 lbs range. The front maxiums came just before we were to leave the next day so I moved the coach to the shop where I have lights. I measured the height on the left and right before I started and put my 4x4 blocks under the front jack pads and raised it up. I put the 6 ton jack stands under the front frame and let the jacks down. I followed the installations instructions and and set the coach back down on the tires. The difference in the height was 1.5". The SSF- 184-40-1 Sumo's operate in parallel to the leaf springs and thus add stiffness to the stock springs. I suspect if the front was lightly loaded the height gain would be much less. By-the way, we have put just over 14,000 miles on the coach since the installation. The spring's addition did not magically cure all the ride problems but it really helped with the lean and cornering of the coach. My wife thinks it rides better over the broken pavement, but I can't tell much difference except where the road is extremely rough.

As posted in another thread, Ron installed Sumos on front and rear of our Axis. He feels the installation made a marked improvement. This week we made a trip to Nebraska and had stronggusty side winds most of the trip. Even though he had to fight the push of the wind, he had much better control of the Axis than before the install.

Kay, early on I read all of your post and took your advice and installed the sumos on our Axis. I can only speak for the Axis and not other coach chassis
The results were instant and amazing. for me it's taken 95% of the highway sway when a semi passes me. Seems like a softer ride. Well worth the money for us.
