Dish washer
I am considering removing my washer dryer that we don’t use and putting a dish washer in it’s place. Have any of you done this? If so how did it work out?
Thanks in advance for replies.

We have a built-in dishwasher...
He also drives the RV, and walks the dog!
If you think that you'll get enough use out of it: go for it!

Wish I had a washer dryer and I might still add one
It's just the Maria and I so washing dishes isn't a problem. Couple forks knives a plate or two get washed In a minute or two

Not really looking for pro or con opinions but rather hearing from someone who has done this.
Thanks

I had a dish washer but the paper plates dissolved and stopped up the drain, all the Solo Cups warped the plastic dinnerware melted in the dry cycle.

17,000 miles and we've yet to use the stove or the kitchen sink, though the sink is a dandy place to stash stuff.
We are big fans of frozen dinners and plastic forks.
I don't know what the op is asking.
You unplug the washer from electric and hot and cold water and a drain, and plug the dishwasher into electric and hot and cold water and a drain. It's plug and play.
(if it's a vented washer dryer combo I might be interested in the op's used unit. I think it'll fit rrriiigghhht herrrre....we'd have to go outside to do the wash, but I think we're OK with that instead of going outside AND loading AND laundry mat AND loading. But this is a bit of a far feltched idea. It'd have to be pretty cheap or a trade....)

Thanks! I figure that if I can't be useful: I might as well provide some chuckles!

I think it’s a great idea! I consider doing something similar in the closet where the washer and dryer would go. The ultimate for me would be something similar to what my Aunt in Switzerland has in her small lakeside cabin... cooktop/ oven / dishwasher combo. 👍🏻

Of course I wouldn’t put something like this in the closet. I’d just put it in the place of the range.

If you don't use the washer/dryer why not use the space for something you would use. I would put the washer/dryer in the classifieds on this and other RV forums, someone's bound to have unit plumbed for a washer/dryer and would be glad to purchase yours for the right price.
Then I would think any dishwasher that fits the space could be modified to work without a whole lot of effort. The hot, cold, drain and power are all right there. Might even be able to add a cabinet or extra shelf space.
Let us know how it turns out.
