OEMs spend mega billions on tech and calibration for peak performance of all inter connected components. This probably does tweak out more hp and torque etc. out of the engine but I’d be very suspicious of ALL other drive line Connected systems and the affect on them. Plus warranty and potential future f
Software flashes that might be needed.

Not for me.

POC email and MyGenius

Bob, you probably found this already but I use sales@oetuning.com and usually speak to Ryan on the phone. Cheers

Thanks; I found them.
A fella I know lives close to them. He's scoping things out for the both of us.
(He's also in a Sprinter.)

Hi Bob, i use (818) 574-5075 and sales@oetuning.com. I’ve been working with Ryan there, very helpful. He said none of their customers has ever had a warranty issue when they flash back to stock tune before maintenance.

Yes, the MyGenius holds both tunes - stock and upgrade. The upgrade is 100% legal and smog compliant. So the huge question is why does the US require MB to de-tune their engine for import??

If you look at European specifications, Sprinter V6 engines are listed at essentially the same power and torque as in US.

Most truck and commercial engines are derated compared to cars and lighter-duty vehicles in order to extend durability. It’s not just Mercedes, Ford does it also with PowerStroke diesel.

You’re a well trained husband. My main interest in the tune was improved fuel economy, and if I get even 1 mpg improvement over the next 90K miles, about 11K now, the tune will pay for itself more than twice, at today’s fuel price. So, we’ll see. Cheers

They are advertising $595 right now for the Sprinter 350 BlueTec, but you can call them at 818-574-5075 for a quote for your engine.

Don't get married if you can't get used to the leash!
I'll throw the fuel savings into the mix...

Just trade it in, and get one with the new Eco-Tec 3.5 liter gas engine...
