Mods done to 27K and 27.1 table area?

On my took all the table and bench out move all the electrical mess under the Bathroom area installed a hard wire ups and clean all the area
Got lots room now installed to recliners
And used the small table upfront for eating

I am attempting to move the base out and replace cushion. When you did yours were you able to keep the bed frame to use as a bed? Do you have pictures or what should I keep in mind when doing?

cjamio, I did not even try to use the metal bed frame as we did not need this area for sleeping. I don't think it would work and still allow you to add the extra foam to the seat which you need to make it a little more comfortable. I was able to use the original vinyl cover by adding material to the back where it is not normally visible. Most people made a total new cover. Thanks to this thread, I was motivated to replace the uncomfortable dinette set and put in these recliners.

Welcome to the 27 recliner club. We love ours every time we use the coach. With the 40" Roku TV straight across from the recliners and a "Mobley" data plan we can easily relax in the evenings after diner. The old couch was so uncomfortable we had to retire to the bedroom way too early to get comfortable to watch TV.
