Mounting towel holder

My wife and I want to mount a couple towel holders in the bathroom above the toilet. Any thoughts about the best way? I’m thinking about pop rivets or self drilling metal screws. Has anyone done anything similar?
Thanks!

We have a cabinet above the toilet. I put a couple cabinet door knobs to hold towels pic 1

But we ended up putting a couple big command hooks on the bathroom door. We use that more pic 2

We have a split bath, so we just mounted an extra towel holder beneath the existing one.
For mounting one on a wall: I'try those expanding pop rivet fasteners, and perhaps add some epoxy as well.

I'm leaning toward the pop rivet. Think like you suggest Bob I'll add some epoxy for good measure. I do think that I will put a practice pop rivet down low behind the toilet where no one will see to see how it'll hol din hte wall.

Be sure you know what's behind the wall, before you drill. Sometimes plumbing and electrical is not routed the way you would expect it to be.
