Cat habitat?

Funny question but when I retire and go full time, the cats will be going with us. I have a class C Chateau. I was thinking about taking the cabover bed and putting in a portable soft side play pen (60" long) for them with a water bowl and a small litter box during the times I'm driving or need them contained.

I also have 3 dogs and a parrot so need to keep the cats feeling like they have their own place where the dogs can't bother them.

Any one else make special accommodations for cats?

We travel with KC our cat. Oh yeh...we make many consideration for our 'little man' !! Being our only furry kid, he has the run of the place! We have a long square tube which we have used successfully when we had a trailer and traveled with KC in the truck...So, yes it does work. Kept him contained, comfortable, had a bowl of dry cat chow, water and a small litter box in there, and his blankie. It is the width of the back seat of a truck.
We have talked about putting it back on our bed, as a comfort zone for him while we are moving down road...and when parked, possibly placing it in our overhead bunk for a getaway for him.
We have cat proofed our couch and cockpit seats..as he is not declawed !
