New radio install ACE 2017 radio harness question

I’m installing a new JVC radio in a 2017 ACE...I'm wishing to use new wiring from the plug/connect (translucent clear) all the way to the JVC plug that goes into the radio....does anyone know what connector I should buy?....in an old post someone mention a Mercedes sprinter part....

I can’t really help you but on my SOB there wasn’t a connector at all. The radio’s wiring was connected one wire at a time with crimped connectors. I wired my Kenwood similarly but used easier and more secure screw on connectors from Crutchfield. I keep a supply on hand at all times.

I am in the same quest. Have been searching for days.
ours is a 2019 ACE, but I assume it will be the same.
Let me know if you find something, and I will do likewise.
Regards,
Gordon

Ok. Never found a wiring harness for the Ford F53 chassis (2019 THOR ACE 30.3)

Even went so far as to contact Metra technical support (not their distributors).
He asked for pictures, and I must say, their technical support seems top notch, especially as far as he is concerned, I am a one off, and he should be supporting distributors (I assume) not me. They apparently don't have any Molex style connectors of any kind.

I did create a solution.
I purchased the following Molex connectors from Amazon...
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Also purchased the crimping tool... (bummer for one connector)https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I used these to connect directly to the pigtail connector furnished by the radio vendor.

You will NOT need the extraction tool unless you mess up like I did.
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I had the right sex on the connector, but put in the wrong sex on the individual terminals. DAMM!

I did get it working.

NOTE!!!!: Most radio vendors wiring harness wires are so thin, that they are difficult to use with these Molex terminals. I recommend doubling or tripling the stripped lead (fold it over) to increase the amount of "meat" you can grab on to.
Hope this works for others.

BTW - I purchased an Android based head unit from ATOTO

When I replaced my radio I discovered that there was no fancy connector involved. Just a bunch of crimped butt connectors on the individual wires. But using the old radio and the new radio wiring diagrams - which were conveniently on the radios themselves - it was a simple matter to wire up the new. There are dozens of styles of available connectors but I like these. They are super easy, fast, don’t require any tools except a wire stripper and hold like the dickens. I keep a good supply on hand at all times and use them for a variety of DC wiring tasks.

F53 harness

This is what the F53 harness looked likes in my Thor ACE 30.3 (2019)

this is why I ordered a Molex connector from Amazon.

I could have cut this connector off and used other connectors(crimp), but I prefer to keep as many standard connectors in the unit as possible, especially for a coach that is still pretty new.

Its me again...installing JVC KWZ 1000 in 2017 ACE 29.3.....

I have the rear and side mirror feed working...through powered Rca harness to 5 pin DIN....

In this process of installing the darnest think happened....when the radio is powered parking lights on the driver’s side of the RV turn on....what the heck?

In the process of the install I bypassed the multiplex/splitter.....I am getting power from wires to it....but all turn signal wires etc deadend now....

Any ideas about the parking lights....one side only?

The park lights power originates from the headlight switch, and then branches out into individual wires for each side. You must have accidently tied into the drivers side light somehow. Does the light come on with the headlight switch?
