Spare Tire monted underneth on E-450 Ford Chateau 24-T

Right now my spare tire is monted on a bracket on my bumper. I want to get tire mounted underneath motorhome. My motorhome is on a 2004 E-450 Super Duty Ford Truck. I have seen Ford Trucks with spare tire monted on a tire lift. Has anyone did this modification on thier yet?

yes, well mine's not a 24t, but I ordered a rack from thor that fits under there nicely. It was overpriced for what it is, but surprisingly not bad. I was going to find a welding shop but figured for the price I'd just keep it simple. sorry, don't remember teh price.

Thanks blw2 I am going to Recycle Car Parts tomorrow to see if I can find a Ford E-450 Super Duty spare tire lift with cross member bracket that can be welded to the frame. Ford has a tire lift for $250.00. Is my secound option.

Lippert components makes spare tire winches for most rv's. I am thinking of having one installed on our F550 Chassis.
